Dear Readers, And we’re back! I am thrilled to see those signs, “We’re Open!” Let’s do the best we can, and be responsible for our own health while being respectful to others as well. Many of us had a lot of time to do things in and around the home over the past couple of months. In this issue, we are all-in on design. We welcome new advertisers and Treasure Coast Styles to help along the way. Life is certainly not for the faint of heart. There is a plaque that hangs on my office wall, “Courage is adversity’s lamp.” Let’s get cracking and have an amazing summer. While there may not be too many typical summer events scheduled, we do have two prominent days during the summer. Independence Day and Primary Elections. I close my eyes and pray. “Lord direct my thinking and give me words for I have a troubled heart.” It is so hard to see the violence & destruction imploding the country that I love. The country my father, brother,

son fought for. I am proud to be an American. I did not grow up with a silver spoon; in fact I did not grow up with much. But I had a family that loved me and worked hard. America gave that freedom to my grandparents and then so on. I am grateful that I have freedom, to have the opportunity of education, to work, to play, to think, to speak, to pray. Some may have more than others, I understand. Should we then hate? When we point a finger, we have 3 others pointed right back at ourselves. America, America, gives us opportunity like no other. I have immense respect for our military and our law enforcement. They defend, protect and risk their lives every day. Criminals and murderers go to jail, period. We have laws we have a justice system. We are a civilized people. We have the ability to articulate and intellectualize. Did you hear? Two wrongs do not make a right. Use your freedom, use your voice and vote the primaries on August 18th. I pray for peace and know in the end this will be reconciled … by God. I leave you with: Philippians 4:8 NIV 8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” LET FREEDOM RING!
