Alain de Botton describes in ‘The Architecture of Happiness’ that “we need a home in the psychological sense as much as we need one in the physical”. My choice to study architecture stems from this idea that it provides both a physical and psychological sanctuary. What fascinates me about this subject is that it has the capability to stimulate a different response from each individual with varying designs. I have an enthusiasm for the built environment from a simple swing to a complex architectural structure. My projects are driven by creativity and critical thinking, which I believe is the recipe for a strong product in this

An interactive infrastructure was created to provide a collective neighbourhood. Key points are the formulation of an inner courtyard to ensure a space that allows small-talk and further. The important aspect is dissolving boundaries between public and semi-public courtyards. The social interaction between neighbours and the connection from one space to another was achieved.

The Internet is a crucial technology for the information age, thereby it is obvious that humanity is almost almost completely inter-connected. Our present “network society” is a product of the digital revolution and some important socio-cultural changes. The virtual experience is becoming more important than the physical life, but it is less a virtual reality than a real virtuality, which helps the real life to function. This creates a division within the society. On the one hand it is taken as an advantage and on the other hand it intimidates some individuals of the society. This in turn depends on the consciousness of human beings. The absolute mastery of one’s own sense determines the perception their behaviour in the virtual world. The recklessness of the society is evident in structural form within the cityscape. A relation to the environment is not relevant. In addition, streets, facades and the need for natural light are being re-

Basic Form

For the ‘new man’, real life is of no interest to him, because in his hands he has a much larger world. Life can mised bedroom space. The “New Space” makes room for an endless collective game in which all fantasies are played out. The barrier of the “space” is not based on the existing four walls, it is expanded several times by the networking intimate connection between desire and space will create a new type of architecture for a new society. Monolith

Was ist das?

The monolith is created through the rearrangement of the living quarters for certain groups. The minimalism is not only evident in the living quarters, but also in the monolith. The monolith is present in the city as the unknown and alien to the neighbourhood. In this foreign body the physical life of the new humans takes place. Its residents have access to an endless network. The tiny space is overshadowed by the extensive capacity of networking. The new man is unaffected by his minimalist lifestyle, as his experience in the “virtual world” is a virtual augmentation of reality. schematisches Monolith

Habitus

The physical representation of the “Habitus” is a metaphor for an accommodation that uses the internet as a platform. Based on its usage the space was dedicated accordingly. All functions have their place in the “Habitus”. shape, height and dimension, a certain brutality is emerged. The outsider easily recognises the content of the premises by its form.
