BFN Productions is a UK wide full bartending service offering Cocktail Masterclasses throughout the country as well as fully stocked licensed bars for all occasions. Although we specialise in creating fantastic cocktails we provide all types of bar services from fully stocked licensed mobile bars to beer bars and classic cocktail bars. Our bartenders are trained in all aspects of bar service and we are dedicated to giving the first class service our clients have come to expect.

Garden Mojito Created by one of BFN’s own, this is a twist on the Mojito 1 shot Chartreuse Handful of mint leaves 1 shot lime juice 1 shot sugar (gomme) syrup 1 shot white rum 1/2 shot of over proof rum Soda top up Place chartreuse and mint leaves in a brandy glass, set on it’s side on a rocks glass full of hot water, light the chartreuse carefully. Separately, shake all other ingredients (bar soda) with ice then pour into brandy glass. Fill collins glass with crushed ice and pour in contents of brandy glass. Stir ingredients. Garnish with a mint sprig, lime wedge and 2 straws

Spice Up Your Cocktails In days gone by drinks were bland and boring. Enter the Bloody Mary. Add a few drops of Tabasco sauce, a dash of Worcestershire sauce, a pinch of cracked black pepper and a squeeze of fresh lemon. This will bring simple tomato juice to life. Must have Ingredients These are the ingredients every budding cocktail maker should have in the house. Be inventive and have fun

Sugar Syrup How the pro’s make it Take 1 ltr of water and simmer on the hob (not vigorously boiling), add 2kg of white sugar in small amounts to the simmering water. Stir to make sure it is dissolved before adding more. Once all the sugar is in and dissolved, it should be a lot thicker than water. Fine strain through a tea strainer to remove any potentially un-dissolved sugar (as this will crystallize and spread) and leave to cool down. This will keep for a long time. Try making it with a vanilla pod in it, rose petals or lavender to create great tasting and unique sugar syrups. A must have when stocking your cocktail cabinet. +44 (0) 78 555 61896

Rude Ginger Cosmo A twist on the classic Cosmopolitan 2 slices of ginger (fingernail size) 1 shot Tequila 1 shot Grand Marnier Juice of half a lime 1.5 shots cranberry juice Tiny dash of lime cordial Muddle ginger in Boston glass, add the rest of the ingredients and shake with ice and double strain into chilled martini glass. Flamed orange zest to garnish

Two words associated with bartending but what do they mean? Well let us shine a light on the subject. Flair refers to how Tom Cruise performed and served as a bartender in the film Cocktail. Throwing and catching bottles while serving. Mixology refers to a cocktail bartender skilled in the craft of making cocktails, knowledgeable in spirits, ratios and ingredients to create fantastic drinks. 21
