Scores improve slightly on CSAPS in Jeffco B E H W Staff Writer
Jeffco Public Schools showed slight improvements this year in most Colorado Student Assessment Program tests, though the percentage of students rated as proficient or advanced dipped in several instances. The most consistent gains were seen in science, for which only grades five, eight and are tested. The Scientific and Cultural Facilities District is seeking nomi-
nations for the Rex Morgan Award, which honors a resident living within the boundaries of SCFD (Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Jefferson and Douglas counties) who models civic leadership and volunteerism for the benefit of the cultural community. The recipient of the award will reflect the qualities of Rex Morgan, a leader, volunteer and advocate who enlisted the help of many of his
