Assistant Circle Club & Event Manager – Bord Gáis Energy Theatre. The Private Members Club at Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, one of Europe’s premier venues, is currently looking for the right candidate to join our team. Reporting to Head of Circle Club and Events, the Assistant Manager will be responsible for the highest level of hospitality in the operational running of the Circle Club, account management for private members, reservation & ticket booking. In addition, you will be responsible for sales, forward planning & execution of corporate events. Experience Requirements:
“Customer is King” mentality Excellent rapport in dealing with high-end clientele Experience in Sales & Event management Third level qualification Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manager role within the Hospitality industry Ability to be a dynamic, hands-on leader Understanding of excellent food, wine and service standards Highly computer-literate with CRM experience Ability to prioritise and multi-task efficiently Excellent Interpersonal skills, ability to follow as well as lead within a team Work well under pressure Impeccable attention to detail Willingness to work unsociable days/hours and shift work
Additional Skills/Qualifications desirable:
Interest in theatre An innovative approach to sales Experience in PCI / Archtics / or other box office ticketing systems First Aid training Desire to work within a commercial theatre environment. HACCP training
