MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE A landmark building for the 21st century, Bord Gáis Energy Theatre is synonymous with spectacular performance art, outstanding architecture, and a commitment to excellence in live entertainment. We are currently seeking a dynamic Marketing and Communications Executive to join our award-winning PR & Marketing team. The role of Marketing Communications Executive is to support the PR & Marketing Department in effectively implementing approved campaigns that support marketing and PR objectives. We are looking for a candidate who is self-motivated, enthusiastic and who has a passion and flair for copywriting and content creation. Main Duties & Responsibilities • • • •

Managing the creation and implementation of a social content calendar that supports the delivery of key internal and external messages. Managing and implementing paid social campaigns for a variety of productions. Managing and responding to various social media queries on a daily basis. Executing the creation and delivery of a wide range of written content for use across multiple internal and external channels, including weekly email marketing communications. Managing website maintenance to drive enhanced user experience. Ensuring the website content is up to date and leveraging social media channels to grow followers and engagement Creating and executing engaging online content around specific key events across the calendar such as opening nights and media days with talent. Creating and scheduling sales reports as required. Supporting the marketing team with media planning and buying across all media, including but not limited to broadcast, print, OOH, paid social and digital display and video campaign Preparing artwork request grids and completing artwork request forms, managing and delivering approved artwork as required. Keeping an inventory of print materials (posters, flyers etc.) as required In-house delivery of marketing assets to other departments and stakeholders Actively carrying out media research when required in terms of statistics/ audience profiles etc. Maintaining and updating a shared Press and Marketing folder including press lists/images/press releases/marketing assets/general artwork etc. Actively generating marketing campaign performance reports when required. Managing and assisting with the execution of marketing plans, delivering to deadlines and within agreed budgets. Supporting the PR team on events, press days, and opening nights and assisting with reports for same. Supporting the PR team in implementing promotions strategy.

Skills & Qualifications • • •

Ideally 2 - 3 years experience in a PR/ Marketing/ Communications role Excellent written English with an ability to write informative, accurate and creative copy Entertainment industry and marketing experience an advantage

Ability and desire to work as part of a team A passion for PR and Marketing and the Arts/Entertainment industry Relevant Third Level Qualification or Equivalent Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products Positive attitude with excellent self-motivation and ability to work on your own initiative and meet deadlines Proven ability to work within an allocated budget
