Faithful to their original commitment to the sport and to cycling, BH supports racers and teams form all cycling disciplines: Road, Mtb XC, Enduro and Triathlon. In road cycling, BH sponsors the professional Sojasun team which participated in this year’s Tour de France, as well as teams that support the training and education of young cyclists such as BH Burgos, el Vienne – Futuroscope for female cycling and Synergy Baku.

DlZ O: BH SR Suntour KMC, worldwide reference in XC BH and the BH-SR Suntour-KMC team continue to ride together. This collaboration has been conﬁrmed by their success in the London 2012 Olympics where the young Julie Bresset took the gold in Mtb. BH-SR Suntour-KMC, one of the top scoring international teams (UCI Elite Mtb) has achieved major triumphs such as the World Championship and the European Championship with one of Its racers winning the gold medal in the Olympic Games as well as various wins in the World Cup.

Pauline Petit, a young cyclist who, at only 25 years, has already gained considerable experience in Mtb, and is the new representative of BH in the Enduro area.

Sponsored by BH Bikes, Julie Bresset had one of the greatest moments in the history of the team in the London 2012 Olympic Games, winning the gold medal and becoming the ﬁrst French woman in history to be Olympic Champion in Mtb. Not to settle, the BH racer went on to win the World Championship in Mtb held in Austria shortly after.

In the triathlon, the BH Team supports Eneko Llanos, a legend in the sport, as well as young triathletes who are making their mark such as Mario Mola, Joao Silva, Fernando Alarza, Catriona Morrison and Gurutze Frades.

Julie Bresset, 23 years of age, came to the team in 2010 and in a few short years, she has become an international reference in the world of female Mtb as well as the most important member of the team led by Michel Hutsebaut.

BH’s SR Suntour KMC of Mtb XC is a world-wide referent team in this discipline, having in its ranks the young Julie Bresset, world and Olympic champion.

Fellow racer Maxime Marotte has spent six years with BH Suntour.

This year, the team has been reinforced with Stephane Tempier as well as current Spanish sub-23 champion, Pablo Rodríguez Guede. With this line up, the BH Suntour team is sure to lead the XC World Championships over the next seasons.

“I face all terrains at top speed” Over the past season, BH has signed on a new and promising young French Enduro athlete, Pauline Petit, currently one of the top racers. At only 25 years of age, she already gained considerable experience in Mtb, a discipline that she has set aside in order to concentrate fully on Enduro.

Pauline will compete with the Lynx 6, the most aggressive of the BH models. This kilometre-devouring bike in the hands of one of the best riders of the moment: an intimidating combination for 2013. According to Pauline Petit, the Lynx 6 is “an aggressive bicycle, to face all terrains at top speed”.

Last year, Petit finished third in the Avalanche Cup Lyon, and earned second place in the Enduro Roc and Regional Enduro Championship of Languedoc Roussillon. In 2011 she finished first in the Maxi Avalanche Cervinia and in 2010 she also won first place in the Europe Cup Overall Rankings (Maxi Avalanche).

SOJASUN Competing in the Tour de France The Sojasun team, equipped with G6 and Aerolight frames by BH, will take off from the starting line in the 2013 Tour de France in Porto-Vecchio. This is a very special edition of the Tour as the race celebrates its one-hundredth anniversary. With over 80 victories in the last four seasons and earning 1st place in the 2012 UCI Europe Tour, the team under Stéphane Heulot’s lead, will face this season with a primary goal: to continue growing and to take their place in the elite cycling world. Thus far in the season, Sojasun has earned 3 wins with Jonathan Hivert, the overall in the Étoile de Besseges and two stages of the Route of the Sun race. Participation in the Tour is a prestigious accomplishment for the group, recognition of months of work.

Thus, the Sojasun team will make its debut in the 2013 Tour de France with the G6, a bicycle manufactured from a single piece of carbon, offering it lightness and rigidity as well as an enormous power from the ﬁrst turn of the pedals.

Burgos BH Supporting the learning and training of promising young athletes Burgos-BH is a Continental UCI team which has the primary function of training and teaching young and promising racers as well as more established athletes. The team aims to be an example and a model for cyclists wishing to enter in the professional cycling world. The team competes with the G6.

Vienne–Futuroscope Competition, development and training... Cycling in its purest state Created in March of 2006, the Vienne-Futuroscope team of female cyclists began competing in the 2007 season and has since collaborated in the development and training of young female cyclists. As a team, the UCI participates on an international level, with successes beyond the French borders. Currently, its racers include Audrey Cordon, an important name in the present and future of female cycling.

Synergy Baku Extending our passion for cycling across Asia The new cycling team, Synergy Baku is present this season with the goal of earning a spot on the squad and making a name for themselves in the international cycling world. This project, created by David McQuaid, eldest son of the UCI President, together with the Cycling Federation of Azerbaijan, has the goal of raising the level of cycling in this Asian country.

The team’s slogan is “The leader of the team is the team itself”, representing their training values which, according to Stéphane Heulot, are “above all, a great team, everyone contributes and if we are known for anything it is for being bold and conquering”. 15

Each of the races held has displayed the individual strength of these athletes who compete in three different disciplines, obtaining enviable results season after season. The team includes legendary triathlete Eneko Llanos who has conquered two of the most important international podiums, both in Abu Dhabi and in the Melbourne Ironman. Along with Llanos are some promising young athletes who form the BH Team, including Fernando Alarza, Mario Mola and Portugal’s Joao Silva. In addition, female athletes are currently rising in this sport, so dominated by males. Recently incorporated Gurutze Frades competes side by side with Catriona Morrison, who is no stranger to the podium.

“It would be a great goal to win Hawaii in under eight hours” Llanos is currently the Long Distance Triathlon World Championship runner-up, in a 2012 competition held in his birthplace, Vitoria-Gasteiz. Eneko continues to top the Ironman charts where his incredible physical condition has led him to top 10 ﬁnishes on 3 occasions in the Hawaii Ironman, including one silver medal. This year, Llanos has already won the prestigious Melbourne Ironman title.

Despite his youth, this Portuguese triathlete has an impressive list of accomplishments, with 2011 wins at the Garmin Barcelona Triathlon as well as the Dextro Energy Series in Yokohama and in 2010 in the ETU U23 European Championship. Patient and disciplined, Silva is already a real force in the world of the triathlon, no longer merely a promise.

Gurutze Frades is one of the primary triathletes on the national front. The Vizcaya athlete began to truly dedicate himself to the triathlon in 2009. Since then, this evolution has moved him from top ten positions in 2009, to podium wins in 2010 and victories in 2011 and 2012. In 2012 he was Spanish champion in the long distance triathlon and this year he already has earned various podium positions.

The new electric EVO bikes by BH represent a new step forward in urban travelling because they offer you everything you need to move safely around the city and in inter-city surroundings.

There are NEO models for all tastes. Rigid, 29”, with suspension, Cross, Road for long distances … and with the Nitro model you will even reach 45km/h.

Everything in its attractive and stylish design is thought for comfortably driving around your city. The proﬁled diagonal tube design allows easy and agile access. Some models have internal gear systems, integrated grill and several models include hydraulic disk brakes.

More autonomy, more speed The best kept secret of the NEO and the EVO is their Samsung battery that is fully integrated into the diagonal bar and is fully demountable so that it can be charged with ease at home. This design, which is exclusive to BH, makes the bike look non-electric. The powerful battery offers autonomy of up to 90 kilometres. Additionally, thanks to the accelerator they can reach 6 km/h without the need to pedal. The NEO and EVO battery is fully demountable and they can be charged in a very short time (80% in two hours and 100% in four hours).

The NEO models allows for 2 types of battery of 324Wh (36V/9Ah) and of 432Wh (36V/12Ah). Likewise, the Nitro model has an optimised battery that allows you to maintain higher speeds by maintaining the same autonomy.

The EVO battery is 17% narrower, since the frame of these models is more stylised, and all of them, except for the ECO, are 12 Ah.

The battery and autonomy The battery used in these Easy Motion bicycles can be charged comfortably by connecting it to the mains. The 300 Wh and 400 Wh Ion Lithium batteries have a useful life while being used at 100% of around 35,000 and it is then capable of retaining 80% of its charge. The battery is a Ion Lithium battery with a useful life while being used at 100% of around 30,000 km, and it is then capable of retaining 80% of its charge. The procedure for extending a warranty 1 or 2 years can be accessed via www.bh-emotion.com • Electric bicycles will include an extended warranty card. • The end user may request a +1 or +2 extended warranty directly via our warranty web page, within one month from the purchase of the bicycle, and the following information must be provided for this purpose: - Type of extended warranty. Either “+1” o “+2”. - Model of bicycle for the warranty. - Battery serial number. - Extended warranty date. The date on which this is provided. - Sale invoice number given to the user. - Sale invoice date given to the user. - User name. - Address. - Telephone. - E-mail.

• Once this data has been entered, the system will check: - That the extended warranty date falls within the +1 month sale invoice date of the user. - That the bicycle model is MY2012, i.e., that it starts with the letter E. The system will use all that information to generate an extended warranty number and a pdf ﬁle (with the warranty number and conditions), which will be sent to the user by e-mail, once the payment has been received via the online payment gateway. • Furthermore, once this warranty number has been generated, a delivery note will be generated and an invoice will be issued according to the type of warranty (+1 o +2).

• For all warranty claims, the end user will be requested to provide the following at a BH store: - The sale invoice issued to the ﬁnal customer. - The battery serial number. - The bicycle model. The warranty can then be checked to determine if it is valid and in order. If this is the case, the battery will be replaced. Example: Extended warranty no.

XXXXXXXX Type of extension

Emotion extended warranty CONDITIONS 1. The extended warranty speciﬁes that it covers the BH EMOTION electric bicycle battery. It also states that it is governed by the laws of the country in which it is purchased and it may only be applied to bicycles acquired at an authorised European BH EMOTION retailer. 2. Batteries are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for a 3 year period (extended warranty +1) or 4 year period (extended warranty +2), starting from the date on which it is purchased by the buyer from the authorised BH EMOTION retailer. 3. This extended warranty does not mean that the battery will not malfunction or that it will be last for an indeﬁnite period. It only implies that the battery is covered by the extended warranty, as set forth in the corresponding conditions. 4. This extended warranty only applies to the original buyer of a BH EMOTION electric bicycle and may not be transferred to any subsequent owners.

5. The bicycle and the battery should be taken to an authorised BH EMOTION retailer of the country in which it was purchased in order to make a warranty claim. The bicycle must be fully assembled and the original invoice must be provided along with the purchase date (it should be kept in a safe place). 6. Following an in-depth review of the battery in question, all warranties are subject to the decision made by our engineers concerning the nature of the fault. 7. This extended warranty will be cancelled and rendered ineffective, in the following instances: - Improper use. - Negligent use. - When it is hired out. - For use in competition of any kind. - Repairs and/or maintenance. - Changes and/or modiﬁcations. - Accidents. This extended warranty only covers batteries which were fully assembled when purchased and put together at an

authorised BH EMOTION retailer, or any other point of sale which has the express authorisation of BH EMOTION to market its bicycles. 8. This warranty does not cover: - Damage arising from faulty assembly and maintenance and/or the installation of pieces and accessories which are not compatible with the BH EMOTION bicycle. - Damage suffered by the original buyer of the bicycle, regardless of how the damage was caused. - Damage caused by the original buyer of the bicycle to third parties, regardless of how the damage was caused. - Gradual deterioration of the battery in the course of its intended use. 9. All labour expenses related to the application of the warranty are to be met by the owner of the bicycle. During the period of application of the warranty, BH will repair all batteries or, if necessary, will replace the battery with another of the same model or the most similar model from those available.

Concepts I. Repairs In order to offer an optimal after sales service for bh emotion bikes that are out of the warranty period or conditions, bh will replace the broken components of the electric system under a given budget.

After sales procedure 2. The warranty shall be invalidated in the following cases: • The bicycle has been damaged due to its use in competitions, jumps, descents, events or as a result of being exposed - or ridden - in extreme conditions or climate.

II. Replacements Bh will not sell replacement components to the dealers except for warranties or repairs. Batteries and chargers are not included.

III. Warranties In order to optimize after sales service for bh emotion bikes that are considered under the warranty period or conditions, bh will replace the broken components of the electric system for free. In normal conditions of use, conservation and maintenance, bh offers a 2 year warranty for material and manufacturing defects in the entire bicycle and electrical components. Regarding batteries, the warranty is valid for 2 years from the delivery date. This warranty only applies to the main owner and in no case and under no circumstance are the rights given by the warranty programme transferable. Consult the terms and conditions of the warranty in the warranty card which is provided separately with your bh emotion.

IV. Exceptions 1. The warranty does not apply to parts: which are subject to wear and tear, such as tyres, chains, brakes, cables, chain rings, direction, crankset and sprockets, providing that they do not present material or assembly defects.

• The bicycle has been used in an unsuitable way or any other way which is uncommon considering the type of bicycle. • The bicycle has not been repaired in accordance with the maintenance instructions manual.

In the event that bh accepts a warranty claim, this does not imply, in any case, the acceptance of responsibilities due to the possible damages incurred. Locate and remove the 2 screws that ﬁx the battery lock plate.

Remove the battery from the ebike.

Locate the 2 screws located in the down side of the frame, next to the bottom bracket.

At this point, the battery lock plate and the lock can be released from the frame.

Locate and remove the 2 screws that ﬁx the controller to the frame reinforcement plates.

Remove the 2 screws.

Locate and disconnect the plug that connects the controller to the BATTERY (white plug).

Locate and remove the 3 screws in the front of the bottom plastic case.

Remove the 2 screws that ﬁx the connector to the frame. Removing the bottom plastic case will be easier.

Locate and disconnect the cables that connect the controller to the MOTOR (BLUE, GREEN and YELLOR cables and 6 pin plug).

Move the bottom plastic case up until it is completely separated from the frame.

Locate and disconnect the cables that connect the controller to the TORQUE SENSOR (3 pin plug).

Locate and disconnect the cables that connect the controller to the DISPLAY PANEL (5 pin plug).At this point, the controller can be released completely. The 2 pin plug is for the light connection.

The electric cables are linked to the system through the display panel with you black plugs in the handlebar.

For the ﬁnal assembly of the system, follow the previous instructions in reverse. For the perfect adjustment of the battery, the connector must be located in the correct position. The connector has 2 holes with gap that lets small movement for a perfect ﬁtting.

15 Make sure that all the plugs are correctly connected. Any bad or incorrect connection may damage the system.

3.2 Replace the battery key

3.1 Replacement of the rear wheel Disconnecting the motor’s cable.

In case the user losses the battery key, please follow the steps in “Assembly - NEO-EVO” from step 1 to step 8 and release the lock from the plate by removing the screw.

3.3 Adjust the torque sensor The inaccurate adjustment of the torque sensor may cause incorrect functions in the motor assistance. For these cases, the controller software includes some additional securities to avoid any related risk. It is necessary to know how the torque sensor works in order to adjust it if any malfunction appears.

Unscrew the nut and also remove the rear washer, taking care to leave the opening of the black tube facing downwards.

The torque sensor reads the tension of the chain, which is proportional to the torque generated by the user on the pedal. It is mounted in the right-hand side rear drop out and it is joint to the frame by three M6 screws.

It is not necessary to remove the torque sensor to remove the rear wheel. The rear wheel can be easily removed, same as in a standard bicycle. Besides, the torque sensor is totally sealed and can be cleaned with water for a correct performance.

In case the torque sensor is removed, please apply the correct torque to the screws. An incorrect applied torque may generate an malfunction of the ebike.

Unscrew the nut on the left side.

Slide the battery out and remove from its position.

Move the cables and connectors from the fuse case.

Locate and remove the screw that ﬁxes the chaincover.

Disconnect the plug of the display panel.

Remove the chaincover by sliding it throughout the crank.

Disconnect the plug of the front light.

Locate and remove the 2 screws that ﬁx the battery holder to the frame.

Locate and remove the screw that ﬁxes the left plastic cover.

Remove the left plastic cover by pushing it slightly towards the front wheel.

Push the ﬂange out of its position and move up the battery holder, until it is completely removed.

Remove the fuse case located in the bottom bracket of the frame.

Disconnect the 3 pins that are linked to the connector.

3.1 Replace the battery key In case the user losses the battery key, there are different cases: The battery is not in the ebike:

Locate and remove the 3 screws that ﬁx the motor to the frame.

The customer will take the battery lock cover by removing the screw

For the ﬁnal assembly, please follow the previous instructions in reverse. After that, the customer will remove the battery lock by unscrewing another screw.

14 Make sure that all the plugs are correctly connected. Any bad or incorrect connection may damage the system.

2 The customer will ask for a new battery lock and keys, according to the component list. The battery is in the ebike:

The customer shall drill and break the lock. Then the battery will be removed and the user can follow the previous instructions.

3.2 Incorporate the light The lights to be incorporated to PANASONIC IBS must have speciﬁc features: - Halogen light. - Light of 6V and 3W (without diode). Any light that does not accomplish with previous specs will break the 2A fuse of the electric circuit:

Restart it, and if after it, the problem does not disappear, please contact a BH dealer. The system detects that the user pushed the pedal during system starting process. Locate the 3 screws under the controller box, in the front side of the rear carrier.

Keep the controller box for future assembly.

Locate the 2 screws that ﬁx the controller to the controller plate.

Locate the connection cables of the controller with the TORQUE SENSOR (4 pin plug).

Disconnect the cables of the controller with the BATTERY (RED and BLACK CABLES).

Disconnect the torque sensor plug.

Locate the connection cables of the controller with the MOTOR (BLUE, GREEN and YELLOW CABLES).

Locate the connection cables of the controller with the DISPLAY PANEL (5 pin plug).

Disconnect the cables of the controller with the MOTOR(BLUE, GREEN and YELLOW CABLES).

Disconnect the display panel plug.

Locate the connection cables of the controller with the BRAKES (2 pin plug). The front and rear brakes have the same plug and they can be connected to any of the plugs.

Rest of the connections have a different plug type (with 2, 4 and 5 pins for the brake, torque sensor and display panel respectively). The pin plugs are easily disconnected by pushing the ďŹ&#x201A;ap.

Disconnect the brake plug.

Now the controller and the controller plate can be completely separated from the system.

Place the controller box in the correct position.

In order to start the assembly of the system, pass the cables from the fender through the holes in the controller plate.

Introduce slightly the 3 screws that link the controller box to the rear carrier. Do not tighten them yet.

Slide the battery inside the rear carrier and connect it to the controller box.

Then all the plugs should be connected to the controller (battery, motor, sensor, display panel and brakes), making sure they are correct. Due to the reduced space, it is necessary that all the plugs are placed between the controller plate and the controller.

Block the battery by using the battery lock.

Push the controller box towards the battery, until the connection with the battery is perfectly in line.

Fix the 2 screws that connect the controller to the controller plate.

Fix the 4 screws that connect the controller plate to the controller box.

Tighten the 3 screws that link the controller box to the rear carrier.

3.1 Replace the motorized wheel

3.3 Replace the battery key

The motor is located at the front wheel’s axis. When separating the front wheel, the user shall make sure to disconnect the motor’s cable. For this purpose, the pedal assistance must be switched off.

In case the user losses the battery key, please provide next information to the After Sales Service Department of BH BIKES:

Any manipulation must be done with the battery and system disconnected.

Ebike model (for example, “EMOTION XPRESS 650 LADY”).

The user shall unscrew the two screws that attach the protection casing to the fork.

Serial number of the control panel (for example, CD5BH11004256”), located in the down side.

Serial number of the motor (for example, “1004BH317”), located in the side.

The user shall separate the cover from the protection casing.

Disconnect the motor’s connection to the pedal assistance system.

Serial number of the charger (for example, “1010402”), located in the side.

Serial number of the battery (for example, “SDTDATA180497”), located in the down side.

With this information, BH BIKES EUROPE will trace the serial number of the battery lock and make a new copy of the key.
