Our Urban Embroidery Cushions are the perfect addition to any scheme to add a focal point and extra texture. All are made from 100% linen and handmade in Australia and India.

URBAN CLASSICS Embroidery

At Bandhini we combine our love for textiles and design to create a collection of decorative soft furnishings. Our point of difference is nothing is mass produced. All our items are handmade using traditional techniques of weaving, beading, block printing, screenprinting, embroidery and applique.

Our Urban Classics Collection is a modern take on the bold and beautiful patterns of the 1920s. Featuring interlinking circles that are prominent in interior schemes, making it perfect for adding a touch of sophistication and elegance to your home decor. Embroided cushions in this range are made by artisans using ancient techniques.

The range comes in white, natural, black & navy.

APPLIQUÉ

The appliqué technique involves stitching a smaller piece of fabric to a larger piece to create a design or pattern.

Using this technique we have added the Inter Gem Appliqué Lounge Cushion, inspired by the shapes and cuts of precious stone silhouettes.

Available in black, natural and navy.

SCREEN PRINT

The Rotterdam Lounge Cushion is a bold and graphic design, featuring a chain linked with a square and a round link.

The art of screen printing has an ancient history, originating in China in AD221.

This cushion is part of our value range and comes in both black and white.

EMBELLISHED

The crazy embellishments continue in the Urban Classics Collection. Featuring agate slices, gold ring discs, tortoise shells, tassels, beaded rings and Bandhini’s trademark Celtic Knot (forms part of our logo).

These can go on any velvet or linen for an ultimate luxe look in the home.

OUTDOOR

Urban goes outdoors by pools and patios. Handmade in QLD using Tuvatilla fabric, which is 100% waterproof, stain and fade-resistant

This season we have mixed it up using outdoor raffia in two shades; Coffee and Latte. The texture of the raffia abounds to give your outdoor setting a formal, classic look.

TEXTILE ART

Our Textile Art takes on the Urban look, that pairs back beauitfully with our cushions. The art features a collection of natural, textural pieces that form 3D art, framed.
