Award-winning real estate veteran Cynthia Jacinta Keskinkaya has blazed a path of success in the New York City luxury market with her astute advisory approach and her deft ability to build rapport and close deals. Throughout her career, Cynthia has worked for the top brokerages in the country, including Corcoran and Douglas Elliman. At the latter, her strong and steady performance growth earned her the highest awards given by the firm, reserved for million-dollar producers and above. Cynthia was recruited to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices based on her stellar track record of success in the demanding New York City market.

Today, Cynthia continues to be the broker of choice among buyers, sellers and investors in the high-end luxury market. As a native of Portugal, she counts working with international clients among her specialties, a process aided by her ability to speak English, Portuguese, Spanish and some Turkish. Cynthia’s expertise in and knowledge of the intricacies of the Manhattan market serve her clients beautifully, whether they’re moving across the park or around the world.

Born on the beautiful, subtropical island of Madeira, Cynthia has resided in New York City since her teens. She married her high school sweetheart and raised two children during a 25-year stint on the Upper West Side. Her daughter Deniz attended Churchill School and Institute of Technology, and her son Devin attended Poly Prep and Trinity College. Cynthia recently welcomed her first grandchild, Olivia. She also counts Milo, her Havanese four-legged best pal, among the loves of her life.

Today, Cynthia and her husband reside in Midtown East. A believer in giving back, she’s a proud supporter of Smile Train and the Hilde Back Education Fund, a Kenyan charitable organization that helps children from low-income families complete their secondary school education. When she’s not working or traveling, Cynthia loves to spend family time at the home they’ve owned in Fairfield, Connecticut, since 2004. The family also owns a summer residence in her husband’s native town of Çeşme, a Turkish resort enclave west of Izmir. Cynthia frequently revisits her native Portugal to take in its gorgeous scenery and enjoy her favorite Portuguese food, including Bacalhau à Gomes de Sá and Pastéis de Nata.

I engaged Cynthia based on her responsiveness, good ideas, and her record in NYC real estate. The day she launched the listing ended up being one of the worst days in stock market history and the beginning of the long Covid-19 ordeal and a terrible time to sell in NYC. It was a beautiful apartment but it was on the ground floor, had a higher than average maintenance, and a few other aspects that made it challenging. But Cynthia met those challenges with determination, patience, and positivity. The whole ordeal took a year and a half and involved 4 different potential buyers, including one that went all the way through the board approval process and was turned down. But Cynthia kept whacking the obstacles out of the way like Wonder Woman, and finally found the buyers she recognized as the ones we had been waiting for all along. It was no fun for my wife and I to have moved out of the city and still be in an expensive limbo for so long but Cynthia was encouraging, positive, and helpful to us the whole way through. I strongly recommend her to anyone selling property in NYC!
