PRAIRIE RIDGE GOLF COURSE challenges golfers

With the course located next to Ellsworth Air Force Base, golfers may get a close up view of an Air Force aircraft in action.

The course requires players to wear a shirt and shoes, and the shoes may not have metal spikes.

Tee times are required two days in advance.

Hours each day are 7 a.m. to dusk.

Intramural leagues tee off at 1 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, with a Tuesday two-person league starting at 5 p.m.

Prairie Ridge Golf Course is a par 36, 9 hole golf course covering 80 acres. The course features a practice area, chipping green, driving range, mobility impaired carts, and a full service pro shop that includes re-griping.
