Upcoming Events!

1) October 13th- New York Cares Day: This event is limited to those who have already signed up & received a permission slip! It will take place from 9:00am3:00pm. Meet up will be at Flushing Library from 7-7:30a.m. (20 points/3 Tickets) 2) October 14th- JDRF Walk: This event will take place in Flushing Meadow Park.

Meet up will be from 8:30-9:00a.m. (15 points/3 Tickets) 3) October 20th – Fort Totten’s Halloween Kid’s Festival: This event will take place at Fort Totten from 12:00-3:00p.m. Meet up at 10:45-11:15a.m! (15 points/2 Tickets) 4) October 21st- Making Strides Against Breast Cancer: This event will take place in Flushing Meadow Park. Meet up will be from 7:00-7:30a.m. Wear Pink! (10 points/2 Tickets) 5) October 24th- Divisional Meeting: This event will take place at Forest Hills Library from 5:30-7:00p.m (10 points/1 Ticket) 6) October 26th- There will be NO KEY CLUB MEETING on this day.

7) October 27th- Howard Beach Halloween Parade. This event will start at 11:00a.m and will take place at Howard Beach. Meet up at 9:30-10a.m (10 points/2 Tickets) 8) October 27th- Halloween Event at Fort Totten- scaring children from 6:308:30p.m. Meet at Fort Totten! (15 points/2 Tickets) 9) October 28th-Totten Trot: This event will take place at Fort Totten from 8:00-10:00 a.m. Meet at Fort Totten! (10 points/2 Tickets) 10)November 10th- Fall Rally: This event will take place at Edward R. Murrow High School from 10:00-3:00 p.m. Admission fee will be $10. Please dress in business casual attire. Meet up at Flushing Library from 7:30-8:00a.m. (15 points/3 Tickets) 11)November 16th- Multicultural Festival: This event will take place in Bayside High School! Come for 5 points/1 ticket.

12)November 17th- St. Jude’s Give Thanks Walk. Meet up from 7:30-8a.m at Flushing Library (15 points/3 Tickets) 13)November 18th- Ronald McDonald House: This event will take place at 9:00am.

Meet up from 7:30-8:30 at Flushing Library. MUST SIGN UP ON WEBSITE. 14)December 14-16- Key Leader: $225-250. Speak to Erika if you are interested.

Leadership Experience. Miss Friday December 14th of school. Get back on the 16th!

New Apparel for the Winter Cold!

UNICEF Boxes!

Don’t forget to collect money for your UNICEF boxes! As many of you know, it is tradition that we shave off an officer’s hair every year IF we raise enough money to complete out goal.

This year, our Webmaster, Louis Xia has offered to do the honors of going bald for a good cause! Proceeds from the boxes will go towards the ELIMINATE PROJECT. But wait….

We have decided to make thing interesting this year…

If we raise, $2,500, some lucky members will have the honors of shaving off Louis’ hair, but if we raise $3,500, we will have the honors of shaving off Jacoby’s hair.

BRING IN CANS! As you all know, we have been giving out buy one get one free Pesso’s coupons for every can you bring in but we are changing it up a little.

For every 10 cans that you bring in, we will have a surprise for you!

You will have the choice of “SURPRISE NOW” or “SURPRISE LATER”.

Surprise now will be given to you right away. Surprise later will surprise you on a special day!
