Homemade Eggnog 6 eggs, yolks and whites separated ¾ cup sugar 1 pint whole milk 1 pint whipping cream 1 pt. Hooker’s Bourbon Shot of rum (optional, but definitely worth adding) Add ½ cup sugar to yolks in a clean stainless bowl, whip till fluffy Add ¼ cup sugar to whites in a clean stainless bowl, whip to soft peaks Mix milk, cream and spirits. Stir in whipped yolks gently. Then gently fold in whipped whites to create a frothy nog.
