Having a strong domestic market, low private debt, flexible currency, and not being dependent on a single export sector, Poland is the only European economy to have avoided the late-2000s recession. Since the fall of the communist government, in 1989, Poland has pursued a policy of liberalising the economy. It is an example of the transition from a centrally planned economy to a primarily market-based economy. In 2009 Poland had the highest GDP growth in the EU.

AIESEC in Poland was established in 1971 as an independent entity with just one MC controlling operations. It was an important partner of the government at the time and delivered almost 400 exchanges even in the 70’s! AIESEC in Poland today is the top entity in the CEE network delivering experiences in 2013, followed by Russia, Turkey & Ukraine

oGIP is AIESEC in Poland’s star program – being one of the highest suppliers globally and the focus program for the entity, AIESEC in Poland has consistently delivered 300 – 400 experiences in the program over the past few years. With 453 universities and almost million students we have huge potential to grow in the program in 2015. During our recruitment process every candidate is goes through an intense selection process. For every oGIP candidate we have a mandatory requirement to fill an English test at least on B2 level and have at least 3 months of professional experience.

We take care of building high quality experiences for our EPs, so in the term 14.15 we will be focusing on implementing EP lead to ensure better preparation of EPs before the internship and also on creating attractive products for our EPs based mostly on country partnerships.

In last year AIESEC in Poland realized 550 OGCDP experiences. We are focusing in 3 main issues, that are: Management, World Issue and Culture. We strongly believe in purpose of GCDP in Poland as it helps leadership potential in our youth. Most of our EP’s is interested in programs that are connected with Culture. AIESEC in Poland is putting a lot of attention to build on our quality. This year one of main project was implementation of EP LEAD, to secure better preparation EP before exchange. What is more one of the requirements for EP during recruitment process is submitting English test provided by our partner on at least level B1.

In 2014/2015 we want to focus on off-peak – Realization January- February and preak realization ( May- Jun and July). AIESEC Poland is ready for achieving high goals with high quality and we hope to achieve it TOGETHER ! We believe in BIG AIESEC in Poland and BIG cooperation!

AIESEC Poland raises around 150 corporates TNs every year, most of them are BA / IT, and this year we will drive one more sub-product: education, to take place as AIESEC University. Also this year we are doing only supply based sells. Now we have a special account (Antal International), which aims at European language speakers and has large permanent needs. AIESEC Poland mainly runs 3 sub-products: BA: Marketing/sales/import & export mainly focused on specific language speakers. (German/ Spanish/ Russian/ Portuguese/ French/ Danish) Some TNs are open to all English speakers too. IT: Poland is the third biggest shared service centers in the world, we have large IT TN needs, from startups to multi-national corporates. JDs mainly focus on programming/web development/mobile app development. EDU: It’s a very new product in Poland, and we are driving short-term education TN raising here. You are welcome to approach and set up partnership!

AIESEC in Poland takes pride in providing over 1100 experiences in our Incoming Global Community Development Programme in the last year only. We have consistently delivered high quality experiences, with high NPS score. we believe in delivering direct local impact while engaging over 200 institutions locally. Based on our rich experience with culture understanding as an iGCDP issue, we in 2015 will reach out to deliver projects in the issues of Career development, Literacy and Health and lifestyle to make it even more relevant both to our society and foreign students.
