Halloween Party
The night of October 31st was a very special time for the students from year 8 and 9. The moon was a wonderful pearl in the middle of darkness. It was the night when ghosts and spirits had the power to roam the world. On this terrifying night the class 9B organized a fantastic Halloween Party. It began at 9 p.m. and finished at midnight.
At this party students and teachers wore spooky masks and original costumes. They dressed as witches, ghosts, Draculas, monsters, mad scientists, pirates‌
The polyvalent room was decorated with pumpkins lanterns, black cats, amazing broomsticks, scaring witches, frightening ghosts, cauldrons, bats, spiders and skeletons. We lit candles in pumpkins lanterns and put them outside to frighten every one. It was a very spooky night. Students could buy delicious cakes, cupcakes, candies, gums and drinks.
Tiago Bastos from PIEF was an incredible DJ. He had an amazing performance. Everybody danced, sang famous songs and had lots of fun.
There was also a band called “Dog’s Bite”. Nuno Sousa from 9 A played the drums and Francisco played the guitar .They were very cool.
At the end there was a contest to choose “Mr. and Miss Halloween� and the winners were: Rita Rodrigues from 9 B and Artur from 9 D. Their costumes were awesome.
We loved the Halloween Party because it was a different activity at school. Everybody was happy and we enjoyed ourselves very much. We would like to thank all the teachers who helped to organise this unforgettable party, as well as, our schoolmates, João, Luís, Fábio and Carlos from 9 B who were outside controlling people’s entrance.
