Original congratulation letter from H.E. Madam Men Sam An On the 65th anniversary of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), on behalf of the Royal Government of Cambodia and personally, I would like to congratulate BIDV on the great achievements and highly appreciate the bank’s contributions to the socio-economic development of Vietnam and international cooperation.

Since its inception in 1957, BIDV has become one of the leading commercial banks with the longest-established history in Vietnam and made significant contributions to the socioeconomic development of Vietnam.

especially, BIDV has officially been present in Cambodia since August 2009 with the establishment of the Bank for Investment and Development of Cambodia Plc (BIDC) and a number of companies. BIDV has made positive contributions to the development of the finance and banking system, connecting economic cooperation between the two countries, contributing to promoting the trade and economic cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia. For the achievements gained, BIDV, BIDC and their leaders have been presented many noble awards by the King and Prime Minister of the Royal Government of Cambodia.

On the bank’s 65th anniversary, I would like to wish BIDV new achievements and successes.
