Enjoyable to see the mass of muscle and rib shape in a moderate size. Again he stands on perfect Hedley 8H – Ellingson Homegrown 6035 feet. His BAR E-L Whiskey Jack dam, Florence 1875F, has a big part to play here too as the combination brings us a wonderful +9 CE and +22 MCE with a perfect udder and a +25 milk. She is easy fleshing and a solid square cow. A good heifer bull choice and keep all his daughters.

73K shows that punch. He is smooth made, well balanced with a wonderful muscle expression. Right on breed average, RLS 22D, a dam I have enjoyed from Robert of the Rafter Lazy S Ranch, produced 75# BW calves and we never had an issue with calving. Nice to see Koemerun holds a +7 CE and a +8 MCE. Influenced by the SAV Renown 3439 grand sire you will have no trouble raising some stout calves.

Bit more power in this Ellingson Homegrown grandson. Long flat topped, thick haired, smooth made, easy fleshing power bull. A BW of 88, +24 Milk, +5CE and +9 MCE and carrying that growth YW EPD of +102. Hedley has done a great job for Paul and Beth Leivart and for us, siring broody heifer calves showing great udder formation AND moderate birth weight sons with growth to work in the cow and heifer pasture. We miss him.

A phenotypic standout from his grand father on the top side (Ellingson Homegrown) and his grand father on the bottom side (Peak Dot Topsoil) he will add bone and muscle shape to every calf he sires. A growth bull ranking Top 6% in YW at +124. Unassisted from a 1st calver – nice.

Just like his sire, 122K is long bodied, big hipped and full of motivation. A nice pattern to him. Recommended for cows.

Nice fronted Hedley bull here to put on your heifers. Kirk is not done growing, I think he will really fill out. I have enjoyed watching this particular bull all summer. He has good numbers all across the board. A sweet BAR E-L Whiskey Jack dam, moderate with an ideal udder.
Ycf Kayden 132k
A Feb 9th birthday calf. Nice a square hipped guy with growth potential +100 YW. A good daily gain of 3.13/day!! He has a smooth enough front but his EPD’s say he would work the best on cows.

I’m likin this one. Last footnotes to write. A Mercenary son with a nice hip, thick yet mobile. He will travel and get lots of cows covered. Both sides carry good growth numbers and his moderate JL 240F dam had no issues calving him. Her 3rd calf. The 13 Johnson Livestock females I bought in their dispersal sale all remain on the farm and are a good fit with my existing herd and my philosophy. Good mothers – all around naturals.
