The booklet was prepared for the workshop held by AUIC of Polimi which was about the design of public spaces and urban services around schools for childrens and young people through the activation of local communities and brand urbanism. Our group was working on Macciachini neighbourhood which has population of high school students. Our design aims to regenerate the zone of the park located in front of the hospital in the neighbourhood that was neglected and very underused due to lack of security and also the presence of car parking areas. We remove the strict boundaries between spaces, add more urban furniture and create new zoning within. With the inclusion of play infrastructure we add new functions which are more flexible and open to the imagination, providing areas that can be manipulated by the users.
