A business card might be small, but it’s like a handshake and represents your business. We know the best paper and printing techniques.
TECHNOLOGY Our two HP Indigo presses produce digital printing that cannot be distinguished from offset. We operate a 5-colour 5500 press and 6-colour 7600 press. That means large capacity for small and fast jobs. It also gives us the scope for creativity in variable printing, multi-colour printing and production using all possible materials. In post-treatment we offer glue-binding, wiro-binding, stapling, hole punching, plastic covering, etc.
A lot of information in a small format? We can offer many different smart solutions, such as this A5 folder with four fold-out sections, printed in offset.
We can print your menu and cover it with plastic so you can put it in the dishwasher to clean off sticky finger marks.
Pizzeria or high class restaurant? Use our knowledge of materials and printing alternatives.
Elexia’s A6 folder required an extreme green tone which our Indigo presses achieved brilliantly. We know all about measurements and sizes regarding postal deliveries.
To recreate the feeling of old celebrity photographs we printed using UV coating on sepia paper.
Coated door hangers, in every possible form, impossible to rip off. The feeling of car tracks on a folder using partial relief UV coating. Or a highly exclusive invitation card in silver foil. Sometimes an assignment puts creativity and know how to the ultimate test.
TO THE MUCH LARGER Is a world class machine hall enough to produce large volumes? Not really. What you need is people with the right skills and plenty of experience. Imagine that you have to deliver 15,000 brochures at short notice, or 100,000 64-page catalogues in 30 different languages to be distributed all over the world. In those situations it’s essential that you can deliver on time, guarantee that every single detail will be spot on, and, of course, keep it all confidential. At Billes we can do all that. We have the collected know how, from original and prepress to post-treatment and warehousing, all under one roof. For you the customer, that means lead times are shorter, there is less environmental impact and everything is more cost-efficient.

TECHNOLOGY Our Roland 705 is a 5-colour machine with LV
coating. We can produce up to five colours with water or UV coating at the same time. Coatings can be partial or fullycomprehensive. Matt, silk or gloss. What’s your preference? On our Roland 708 we can print up to eight colours on one side of the sheet or four on both sides. It’s both time and cost effective. Both presses can operate 24 hours a day, so we have huge capacity and can meet extremely short delivery times.

An A3 brochure requires extra preparation. The paper mustn’t crumple in the reader’s hands and colour reproduction of top quality. SKF’s annual report was printed in 22,000 copies in two languages. The print run took almost three days. Confidentiality is vital when it comes to annual reports.
We printed the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra’s 64page general programme on Silk, a highly coated paper with a silky surface. It feels fantastic!

Jernhusen needed five LED light cabinets and a stand with a chrome cross form. Andreas has an engineering background. Nothing is too difficult.
We print, die cut and fold mobiles in the form and size you request.
Two solutions that save both time and money. Cervera wanted a new message in their stores. We created an aluminium frame which, with the help of a plastic strip, simply fastened to the textile the poster was attached to. And when Hästens found it hard to transport their 11x160 posters we invented a frame that used a magnet system to secure the posters.
Indoor promotion, with five or a thousand copies. We always have the same high commitment and find the best solutions.
This figure needed to both stand alone or hang in the air. We gave it stability by using two thin sheets with bubble wrap in between.
Nudie Jeans needed a two-metre high paper figure. The wrong material would have been a disaster. We used thick board and secured it to a plate, keeping both feet firmly on the ground.

AND THEN WE MUST NOT FORGET THE ENVIRONMENT As a family business we are a bit more concerned about future generations, so environment activities are a natural part of everything we do. Since 2011 we have operated a climate-neutral printing hall where we work systematically to reduce carbon emissions. Just by switching to green electricity and district heating helped us cut our carbon emissions by 50%. We have ISO standard certificates for our quality and environmental management systems, which benefits both customers and the environment as it means reduced consumption of chemicals. Then it’s important that all waste products are sorted carefully, which we can achieve using our Svanen labelling. Gathering together all of Billes’ customer offer under one roof means less transport and more efficient production. But our large range of equipment, warehousing and offices require quite a lot of space. We worked out that the waste heat from our machines could be used to heat the building, and it also meant cutting our energy consumption. But then as one of Sweden’s most eco-friendly printers, we can’t stop developing and making improvements.
