We know that today’s youth spend more time on their phone than on physical activity, or more time watching TV than having meaningful conversations with others. CAMPING PROGRAMS: Junior Camp: For campers in 4th through 6th grade who are ready for the best week of the summer! August 4-9, 2014 Junior Camp will be full of crazy activities, games, campfires, and chapel times. You will also get to choose from many one-ofa-kind activity classes that will teach you a new skill and give you opportunities that only Beartooth Christian Junior-Camp can offer! These include things like climbing skills, archery, how to ride a horse, and much more. This year we have a wide array of speakers from all across Montana coming to help lead our morning and evening chapel/discussion times. Wrangler in Training Program: Our Wranglers in Training (W.I.T.) program is perfect for guys and gals between the ages of 16 and 17 who are interested in learning what it’s like to work as a wrangler or as part of a camping ministry. This two-week program allows you to assist the wranglers with ranching duties including teaching classes, assisting with trail rides, fixing fences, caring for the horses, and various other chores. As a W.I.T., you’ll also have the opportunity to receive coaching in your riding skills and improve your overall knowledge of horses. The wranglers on staff will be here to help you as you work through an in-depth Bible study designed to challenge you in your daily walk with Christ, and implement these lessons each day while playing an active role of service in the ministry here at Beartooth Christian Camp. Little Rocky Creek Horse Camp Program: Have you always wanted to learn to ride? Do you already know how to ride but want an opportunity to spend more time with horses? Picture yourself atop a horse in a beautiful mountain setting and you have found yourself at Little Rocky Creek Horse Camp! If you are between the ages of 11 and 17, Little Rocky Creek Horsemanship Camp is just the right camp for you! In our program, campers have the opportunity to build a strong relationship with the various horses they will be riding throughout the week, and form lasting friendships with other campers and summer wranglers. During the four hours spent each day at the corrals, your camper will receive instruction in organized ring classes

where they will learn basic riding skills like stopping, starting, and steering along with walking, trotting, and cantering. Summer Programs CAMPING PROGRAMS: Camp Velocity: Foster/Adoptive Background* August 13-16, 2014 Sometimes kids simply need to know there are others facing the same struggles they face each day. We’ve worked with youth-serving agencies to create this camp just for those who currently live in a placement outside their home, and those who have been adopted from the foster-care system. It’s so full of incredible activities and opportunities that kids will leave here wishing they could stay longer! Camp Velocity will be an unbeatable experience for foster/adoptive youth in 3rd through 12th grades. This camp is specially designed to be an incredible retreat where youth who live separate from biological parents find the momentum and strength needed to keep heading down the right path in spite of many challenges they face. Summer Programs SUPER SUMMER! Super Summer is the largest youth camp program held for teens in the State of Montana each year and is designed specifically for junior and senior high-school students. Family Camp: August 10-13, 2014 If you’d like to have the time of your life as you build strong family relationships, this session is for you. This 3-night, 4-day session is designed to help families connect through fun, adventure and quality time together in the great outdoors without the distraction of everyday life. Mom’s really appreciate a camping trip where they don’t have to cook, while special family-oriented activities will help build important memories that will bring you closer together. Summer Programs Sonshine Camp for those with special needs: August 18-20, 2014 Do you know an individual who would love to come to camp, but would have difficulty keeping up with the physical or the mental demands of a conventional stay at camp? Arrowhead-One Year, One Focus: God’s Word disciples of all nations… teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” Our hope is that the time spent here in this community will be preparation for the next and that the students will be able to engage their immediate community—not just able to talk well of “Christianity,” but to live it. With proper and necessary academic standards, Arrowhead credits transfer to many four-year Christian Colleges across the nation. Our equally important goal is the growth and maturity of our students. The Arrowhead environment is specifically and intentionally designed to be a set-apart time of training. All of what we do stems from a desire to help and to serve. From the weekly schedule and class-time to the discussion in small groups, all aspects of the program have been designed to help the student grow and mature in their walk with God. What is Christian Camping? Facilities

At Beartooth Christian Camp we offer several types of housing for campers including dormitory style housing, cabins and even rustic tents with bunks. Families coming to camp can hook-up their own RV in a specially designated area if they wish. In addition to cabins and activity areas, we have a large multipurpose building with a fully certified kitchen, dining area, stage and seating, additional restrooms, showers and even a laundry room where guests can wash clothes. ‘The Trading Post’ is where campers can buy snacks, toiletries and camp memorabilia like T-shirts and caps. Facilities are available to rent for weddings, family picnics and reunions, graduation parties and other special events—phone our customer relations department for more information.

Activities

As a vital ministry effort, Christian Camps differ from other camps. In addition to fun and high adventure, each program is purposeful about helping people to grow in spiritual maturity. Christian Camping encourages new and continued growth in our relationship with God and others as a central part of our ministry.

Our desire is that you or your child’s camp experience is memorable for the best of reasons, and time spent here will be some of your most cherished of memories. As a nonprofit ministry with a rich history in this area, we rely on many generous donors who make our camp such a wonderful place to spend time. These individuals partner with us to build facilities and help keep camp fees reasonable so families can enjoy this great mountain location while hearing the Good News clearly presented in a way that they can grasp and understand. Staffing

Beartooth Christian Camp has numerous full-time staff that live on our campus year round. These staff members consider their work here a ministry; as such, they care deeply about each person who comes to camp. They work hard to prepare facilities and plan programs responsive to the needs of each group served. Additional summer staff arrive each May during our busiest season so camp can be an awesome experience for all who come.

Beartooth Christian Camp offers so many activities for ‘kids’ of all ages that it’s hard to list them all: Double Zip-Line, Mountain Boards, Climbing Wall, Swimming Pool, Archery, Paint-Ball, Horse-back riding, a Water-Blob, a trap and skeet range, and more! Our pond holds trout for catch and release fishing, and we’re surrounded by Custer National Forest for some of the most scenic nature and wild-life viewing you can imagine.

At Beartooth Christian Camp our mission is “that all may Know and Grow in Christ.” This mission fully recognizes that faith and life in Christ is a highly personal experience, and one that needs to be nurtured in order to grow.
