Code Talker WWII
ELA Code Talker Code Talkers in WWII
The Code The Code Talkers were american indians who helped the U.S. americans and their allies in WWII. They helped by being able to speak their own native language which was used to decode messages sent by other Code Talkers. Their code was to use first letters of certain items they say to create messages, for example they would say ant in their language and the Code Talker would take the first letter of the animal and write the letters down to decode the message.
How Were They Helpful The Code talkers were helpful in the war because they were able to make out secret messages in the U.S. and allied countries. This was a very helpful trait about them because this would keep the enemy from decoding the message because they did not have Code Talkers and any that were captured were told to help them or die and they chose death because they wanted to help the americans.
How The Messages Were Sent These messages were sent by radio and if radios were not available they would run to each other to give the message and sometimes transact with each other if the message contained more than just words. The Code Talkers would also use trained birds that the americans had pre trained at their disposal, these birds were last resort in messaging each other and it was the second fastest because walking would take a long time but radios move through the microphone and birds through the air.
Overall Assumption The overall assumption of the Code Talkers shows that they were extremely helpful throughout the war because of all of the things that they made possible for the americans and their allies such as messaging travel and decoding these are traits that not many people could commit to but the Code Talkers could and they were the best messengers the world has ever seen
