which were shown in her team building and interpersonal skills, determination and drive, innovation and research skills, and leadership in business. These traits earned her the distinction of being named Hispanic Business Magazines Woman of the Year, which is quite an accomplishment (Hughes, Ginnett, & Curply, 2012, pg.82). Ms. Carranza worked multiple positions as she worked her way up the corporate ladder. It is through that experience that she developed her team building and interpersonal skills. She was not opposed to new challenges and with a strong family background of values and strong work ethics, she was able to develop a sense of focus, determination and a desire to work with others who shared her feelings of loyalty, productivity, and work commitment. She liked to observe others and that observation helped her to make decisions and find alternative solutions.
