HABITUAL PLAZA The 14 acre site located in the upper-western part of manhattan surrounding the 96th street clay tennis court with dense rock or soft soil area has been selected for our proposal design since there are number of bus transits and subways are closer to the site which make it at ease for the people to access. The site is also the banks of the Hudson River facing towards the Hudson County Park. The spaces that are proposed in the site are Co-working office spaces, Gallery, shelter for homeless, Observatory tower.

Plaza Activity To reach the surface of the Plaza ,People can take two paths. One, The ramp which is actually roof of the office space that follows the contour.Two,through Landscaped plaza using discountinuous stairs.

Site Green Cover All the trees in the site were retained considering the inadeqaute and scanty green cover of the Manhattan city.

Tower Activity The Prime Activity of the tower is site seeing. It also has a gallery space beneath the deck from where one can take the elevator to reach the observatory part.

Connectivity Primary Roads are city highway and people travelling from Northeast to Southwest can reach the site by shifting lane to secondary road. People from the city should take secondary road following underpass to reach the site.

Riverfront Activity Aquatic Enthusiast can feel the breeze of the river with the stairs provided,in a way braking the distance between oneself and the nature.

45% of the entire site is covered with the native greens.

Visual Axis Manhattan is notable for many attributes amoung which manhattan henge is most unique. Considering that the iconic Plaza tower is placed on the same Axis.

CO-WORKING OFFICE AREAS - They are designed in such a way that are meeting cabinets and also combined working spaces.The plan has a ground floor and and a mezzanine area.The environment has alot of greens which provides a positive environment for the people to work.There is an OTS at the mezzanine floor level for adequate amount of sunlight. TOWER - Kind of attractive space or the focal point of the design which helps in adding beauty to the place and also attractiveness to the design. The monument shows or projects the beautiful tones ad shades of the sun also with objects and people surrounding it along with the plants inside the office spaces. AMPHITHEATRE - The space surrounding the tower so that people can sit and enjoy the relaxing spaces and enjoy the sunset or the flow of water on the Hudson river or take a view of the happening water activity zones.This area helps in giving people a relaxed area or runaway from their daily lives or an energising space for the move away on a low key weekend.

GALLERY - The spaces included in the design are display area, storage area for artifacts,lobby, info deck, medical room,staff room,confernce room and toilets. Also stepdown step-up area filled with alot of the greenary spaces.

CAFES - Simple circular strcutures where there are possible amount of walking or corridor spaces with tables adjacent to the passage space.

SHELTER FOR THE HOMELESS - They are designed for the peole who search for daily homes or caravanised people.The building is on the Basement so as to protect the peole from the extreme cold climate.

The spaces included in the design are Reception, Waiting Lounge, Kitchen,Storage Area,Dormitory,Toilets,Bath Areas, Buffered Dressing Areas and Fan Room for the circulation of ventilation.
