Biocom COVID-19 Event Precautions

Biocom COVID-19 Precautions March 12, 2020 In compliance with the latest statement from the CDC, Biocom has made the decision to postpone all live events effective March 12 through Friday May 8th, 2020. We continue to plan for future events while being sensitive to the uncertainty the near-term future holds for our members. We will be evaluating all planned events scheduled after Monday May 11th and aim to provide two weeks’ notice of cancellation or postponement to registered delegates wherever possible should the outlook remain uncertain. By way of reassurance, should you be registered and have paid to attend a future Biocom event that is subsequently postponed or cancelled, we will contact you offering the choice of a full refund or transfer to the replacement event. At Biocom, the health and safety of our members and our guests remain our top priorities. To keep our community safe during these critical times, we feel it is necessary to take precautionary measures as we receive evolving guidance from public health experts. We encourage all of our members to stay informed by visiting our ever-evolving Coronavirus Resource Center. We greatly appreciate your membership, support, and patience during these unique times and we are prepared to navigate through these challenging circumstances with our members’ safety and success at the forefront of everything we do.

Will I receive a refund if I don’t want to attend a Biocom event scheduled for later than April 6? For cancellation requests, Biocom’s standard cancellation policy applies. It states that you must cancel your registration at least 5 business days prior to the event date. Should you cancel your registration after the 5 business days, you will not be eligible for a refund. If you should need to cancel within 5 days of the event due to COVID-19 concerns, we will issue you a credit for a future event. For more information on COVID-19, please visit the CDC. If you have any questions regarding Biocom events, please contact Ashleigh Farver at afarver@biocom.org.
