In light of these premises and bearing in mind the up-growing environmental awareness, BIOENERGY has developed several photovoltaic products aiming the replacement of conventional building materials (covers, windows, facades, etc). Our company is committed to development and implementation of efficient and environmental friendly energy technologies for its use at new buildings or at readapting already existing ones. effective architecture Final module’s appearance will be directly related to the cells used during its manufacture. The vast cells’ range of colours and shapes allows a wide freedom for architects when designing each single building. Since BIOENERGY modules do not require any maintenance, they will comply with all functional and aesthetic objectives that a conventional glazing does.

aSi structure The innovative aSi structure allows an optimum integration into the building depending on the desired application and architectural expression. This system allows both opaque and transparent designs including all the different transparency grades in between and is characterized by the non identification of the cellular wire. The transparency level of aSi modules is obtained in accordance with the quantity of laser-produced amorphous silicon that is used during the glass manufacture process. This new technology even allows substituting regular transparent windows glass for pv modules of different opaqueness. We offer special integration glass systems for solar cells, no matter whether modules are assembled horizontally, vertically or in any other angle slope because BIOENERGY solar components comply with building industry requirements and can be assembled in all general metallic profiling used in market.

cellular structure Cells are opaque but within the glass there is some distance between them allowing local light filtration. Hence, module’s transparency will depend on cells separation and layout. Double-glassed units can be also used in order to achieve a better thermic insulation. For those interested in higher insulation three-glassed units could be a most suitable solution. Additionally there are various limited glass options for those projects that require special security.
