I remember the first question my grandma would ask when I accomplished something in the fitness media, whether I was writing articles, getting published, and everything in between, ”how much did they pay you to do that?” I never created, wrote or submitted anything with the expectation to get paid for doing it. It was a trade of value for moments, a transition of audience and the opportunity to establish a voice and presence within a network I hoped to reach. Although it wasn’t paid monetarily, I didn’t do it for free either. Value met value and created a moment and opportunity for capitalization. If you trade your time for someone else and fail to create your presence known as yourself, then once you are traded in you will easily be forgotten. Was your purpose to represent someone else and get lost in it helping them build their dream and forget about yours? Then be forgotten, or at the mercy of working for them, and ultimately trading your time for a pay check?
Holly Barker “The FitnessPreneur”
Don’t trade your time for money
Stop with the mindset of “do this and get paid that.”
The fitness industry is known for “in for a hot minute” then ”traded in” for the next.
We get it. Your dream is to inspire! Guess what? You can’t inspire anyone if you’re broke. Money is scaleable. Have you ever heard of passive income? This is when your money working for you even when you are not working. This is well known in the investment industry and within appreciating assets you possess. Your business is an asset! Try to position one aspect of your business to generate passive income. Have you ever heard of active assets? These are the assets that can bring immense value towards your bottom line. If you close a sale, acquire a new customer etc., it’s immediately impacting your business.
Both have the ability to grow and scale.
9
With everything you do, never lose site of what pays you. Allow yourself to build your brand along side this to complement it. Instead of selling yourself, sell your brand. Sell what you stand for.
If it can’t be scaled, what happens if you step away from your position? If you control every experience, how do your costumers adapt to someone else when you are away?
Stand for yourself, heck yes!! But don’t get lost in the ego. In fact, lose your ego altogether! Build yourself in relation to what everyone is looking for and willing to trade value for.
The first day you start your business is also the first day you should start valuing what your business’ sale value is. If your business is you, this is no different!!
If you build your brand with your person, you cannot be involved in the weeds and trading your time for money. There is only so much time before you burn out. Your name must be the brand and you must put your name towards the product, service, experience that you are valuing. The first mis-step we take when entering the realm of monetizing anything is giving away our time for a set number. How can our time really even be priced? it can’t! What happens when our time runs out? How will our business survive and support the people it supports while you are operating? If you go away on holiday, get sick, have a baby, take a break, etc, does the flow of money stop? That’s crazy! Instead of trading your time for money, provide value for moments. If you want to start a business, start taking yourself seriously as a business. When you start your own business, or start working for someone else, there is always potential for growth and scale. If there isn’t, why are you there? Is this what you want to do until the day you die? The same ol same ol? Or will itchange?
Whether it’s selling fitness programs, modeling, influence work, Instagram posts, selling products, services or starting your own brick and mortar, It’s. All. The. Same!
10
Stop thinking it’s different, and stop side hustling. Your 9-5 isn’t a side hustle is it? You are consciously trading time for money. What if you put a ton of value into those moments instead of just trading time? You would rise up in your rank and if there wasn’t a position above you, you would have created it or you would have shifted horizontally because the vertical bar you now set hit its ceiling.
Times have changed. Social media has given us the ability to create our own networks, our own publications, our own businesses, our own audiences, our own world and life. Do you know how powerful this is? Do you know how much radio still sells air space for? You have analytical proof to what value you can bring so Start! Start!! Start!!! It won’t all be clear at first how best to reach your market, but creating rapport and giving value through moments, captions, and consistency, you will find your niche. Then ask yourself where your passion lies in that niche. How can you value this moment and package it? Whether it be posts, product, plans, services, etc. How can you scale this once your demand surpasses your supply so you can increase your audience without sacrificing experience? How can you maintain operations when you step away for a quick minute or month or retire? How can you sell this to someone to carry on its purpose? Think about it. Stop giving it away for free. Start creating opportunity.

EPIC SCOTTSDALE And was it ever EPIC! Not because of the amazing photo shoots that took place there, but the events leading up to the shoots were what really made this shoot so‌EPIC.
Hurricane Maria Remember her? Originally the Epic Destination Shoot 2017 was to be held in beautiful Vieques Island, Puerto Rico. Amanda Freick and I had connected with the W Hotel on Vieques, with full rights to shoot on-property. We were also to shoot with horses on the beach, and several other surrounding areas. Hurricane season was in FULL effect, and we were feeling a bit leary to say the least. Hurricane Harvey hit Houston with a vengeance, and then came Irma. Irma barely missed Puerto Rico, and we all thought we were safe. We were wrong. With a full schedule, over a dozen hotel rooms booked, and only five weeks to our EPIC shoot, Hurricane Maria came through Puerto Rico and devastated the entire country. Maria is now known as the worst natural disaster in HISTORY to ever hit Dominica and Puerto Rico.
15
SO WHAT ARE WE TO DO NOW? I was fortunate to have the support of every last person on the schedule. We wound up re-routing the shoot between two locations. Scottsdale, Arizona, and Malibu, California.
Maria didn’t win Our shoots in Scottsdale surpassed my expectations. I’m happy to showcase the Scottsdale portion of our Epic Destination Shoot here in Issue 2 of BodyScape Magazine. If you would like information on shooting in LAS VEGAS August 20-30 for Epic 2018, please visit our website, www.epicdestinationshoots.com for further info. One lucky person who shoots during that time WILL land a future COVER of Bodyscape Magazine. THE NEXT LEVEL Through world-class locations, an expert team and serious attention to detail, the Epic Destination Shoots offers an opportunity for models that you will not find anywhere else. In this feature you will find some of our favorite images from Epic Tulum. We had an amazing beach front villa that was the home base for the models and crew. We shot on the beaches, in cenotes, (caves) and in lagoons! We had a tour guide with us, who took us around to amazing locations, and as you can see, the images are indeed EPIC. The Perfect Glowing Summer Face Allison Pynn MAKEUP * HAIR STYLING * BODYPAINTING
www.makeupaz.com
Ahhhh summer... the sun, vacations, margaritas....and melting makeup! The key to maintaining that perfect summer glow is in doubling-up products and keeping your look simple yet sexy. 1. Start with a tinted moisturizer or CC cream that contains sunscreen. This will even out your skin tone and give you protection. For acne or under-eye issues, AFTER you’ve applied your tinted moisturizer/CC cream, spot treat with a little concealer where needed. Tip: Did you know UV rays are stronger in the spring and summer months? Yikes! Favorite products: Natura Bisse Diamond White CC cream- oil-free, gives skin a beautiful, even glow and provides SPF 50 coverage. Bobbi Brown Tinted Moisturizer- evens out skin tone & provides SPF 15. 2. Tan: The key to beautiful summer skin is to look like you just landed from a month in Bora Bora. Well, we didn’t, so we’ll fake it with sunless tanning products! Favorite products: The Gradual Illuminating Gradual Tan Lotion- the least “stinky” tanning product I’ve ever found! Its an easy “wear and go” lotion and develops a beautiful glow within a few hours. Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs- I know its not a self tanner, but it gives you an incredible warm glow on the spot and hides any veins or flaws, I call it “pantyhose in a bottle.”
41
3. Bronzer: I love a cream bronzer because it melts into the skin flawlessly. Add a healthy dose of bronzer where the sun would hit you (in Bora Bora!) along the hairline, down the nose, top of your cheekbones and the tip of your chin. Favorite Product: Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel Bronzing Makeup Base. 4. Blush: Use a cream blush to bring a pop of color into your face. A cream will play beautifully with your tinted moisturizer and cream bronzer. You can also double-up the blush and use as lip color too! Favorite products: La Prairie Cream Blush or Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheeks 5. Waterproof Mascara: Be sure to curl those lashes first for that flirty fluff! Favorite Product: Even mascara that says its “waterproof” can end up giving you the raccoon-effect. I find the ONLY mascara that actually won’t budge is Blinc Amplified mascara. Its the mascara that dries into little “tubes” that won’t smudge, flake or smear and it’s the only day-at-the-beach mascara I trust! 6. Brows: To keep it simple, use a fiber gel wand for the easiest, fullest brow. Favorite Products: Benefit Gimme Brow + Volumizing Eyebrow Gel or Maybelline Brow Drama. If you still need some extra definition, I love Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz pencil. The tiny applicator gives the most precise, natural effect that truly mimics real brow hairs. With this easy summer look (that shouldn’t take you more than 5-10 min) you’ll have your sun protection, coverage, and a beautiful creamy glow that will keep you in Bora Bora-mode all summer!

DR. Regina Bailey By Sarah Lyons BodyScape Publisher I was introduced to one of the most inspiring women I’ve ever met when I was shooting in Houston, Texas. Dr. regina Bailey knows how to balance motherhood, multiple careers, pageantry, fitness competitions and LIFE IN GENERAL like nobody’s business! I’m happy to feature Dr. Bailey in this stunning feature. All images were shot in Houston, Texas with hair and makeup by Julia Snider.
43
-Regina, tell us how you got started in modeling. After losing weight and competing in fitness contests, my trainer suggested that I do a photoshoot to show off all the hard work I did. That turned into more photoshoots, magazine features, a magazine cover and even a modeling contract with a major modeling agency. It is something that I never thought possible in my wildest dreams.
-You’re a very busy career woman, do you feel you function most Efficiently having several different jobs? Do you ever feel overwhelmed? I get bored very easily and I have always held many jobs at once. Sometimes I get overwhelmed, but I use different techniques to help with the overwhelming and stressful feelings, like working out and traveling. I have been told that I am the queen of multitasking, so mastering that skill helps as well.
-What is your favorite aspect of being a successful career woman? By far my favorite aspect of being a successful career woman is being a role model for my daughter. I have instilled in her the values that she can have whatever career she wants or whatever business she wants if she works hard.
44
-What is your favorite thing to do when you’re not busy taking over the world? I love traveling with my daughter and relaxing on the beach.
-What are some of your special skills? I have been trained to handle all Emergency Medical situations; I have done everything from delivering babies to cutting open someone’s chest to save their life.
-How do you feel about being a featured model in BodyScape Magazine? It is an honor and a dream come true to be featured in BodyScape Magazine. By gracing this magazine at the age of 43, I hope to motivate and empower other women to not let age be a roadblock to their goals and dreams.
-Name a few things people wouldn’t know about you. I am extremely shy. I am a survivor of sexual assault. I have held a beating heart.

Scott Keppel Scott’s Training Systems
Scott Keppel is the owner of Scott’s Training Systems (STS) a world class fitness studio located in Chandler, Arizona. In addition, he offers online coaching to clients throughout the world. He is a nationally certified fitness and nutrition coach through NASM, ISSA and Movnat. Scott specializes in pageantry training, pre/post natal training, post breast cancer rehab training, business executive lifestyle modification, weight loss and general fitness. He is the official trainer for Miss Arizona USA, Miss Teen Arizona USA, Miss Utah USA, Miss Teen Utah USA, Miss Arizona, Miss Outstanding Teen Arizona, The Pageant Planet and he also works with Future Productions and their 7 states for Miss USA! Scott has spoken at a number of seminars, has led retreats and goal setting events along with promoted bodybuilding and bikini competitions. He taught other fitness coaches how to train for aesthetics, how to improve self-esteem, peri menopause and youth specific training. Scott is also the author of “A Fit Guide to Post Breast Cancer Recovery” and “A Fit Guide to Having a Pageant Body”. www.scottkeppel.com www.scottstrainingsystems.com
52
A key factor in competing in pageants is a person’s genetics. The look of a pageant contestant is held by less than 10% of the US population. A woman competing in a pageant will have a body fat percentage between 12-16 % (on average) and will be at a weight under 130 pounds (again on average). According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention the average woman over the age of 20 is now 168.5 pounds with a body fat percentage over 24%. Note that your genes play in to about 30% of how you look. Other factors are your behavior/environment 25% and your nutrition/exercise 35%. Genetics will be defined as the characteristics and features you got from good ol mom and dad. The color of your skin, eyes, hair, shape of your body, height, teeth, etc… While you can change your eye color with contacts, your hair with dying it, your teeth with braces and your shape to some degree with diet and exercise.
Scott Keppel Scott’s Training Systems How many of you grew up watching Miss USA and/ or Miss America? How many of you admired their beauty, poise and overall appearance? I have been the official fitness and nutrition coach for Miss Arizona USA since 2008. In addition, I am the official coach for Miss Utah USA, Miss Arizona, and I am also the preferred coach for Future Productions (Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Wyoming, Wisconsin) and the Pageant Planet .com. It is my job to make sure any woman I train for their respective pageant has “the look” and feels confident come the day of their pageant. In order to do this, I watch the pageants, judge them and read blogs to better understand “the look”.
Something to keep in mind with regards to shape if we look at the 3 major types (mesomorph “apple”, endomorph “pear” and ectomorph “banana”) you can not change your bone structure to make yourself an apple from a banana and so on. You can definitely shape what you have and make some changes, but at the end of the day you’ll be a modified version of your body type, but not different type all together. Some women will carry more muscle than others and have a “harder” look. These women will often be the ones that compete in bikini, figure, fitness and/or physique competitions. These women also come in leaner than a pageant contestant and overall have more lean mass, thus weighing more too. Behavior will be defined as how one acts. For environment we will refer to as the surroundings and/or conditions in which we live. First, behavior. This is important, because if we have been taught to reward and/or punish ourselves with food,
53
it will be a difficult road for those looking to compete in a pageant as they must make healthier choices more often than not, and they need to be mindful of what they are eating and/or drinking at all times! A pageant contestant must look the part at all times if she wants to have modeling opportunities, media appearances and/or compete. If she’s over eating, eating foods that don’t cooperate with her body (cause bloat, gas, water retention, etc…) she will not look or feel her best and in turn may not win her pageant and/or “get the gig”. On the flip side, if a woman feels it’s best to starve themselves to look like a pageant contestant in addition to looking emaciated, being weak and her skin looking as though it sags she can develop long term side effects (slowed down metabolism, thyroid issues, diarrhea, nausea, osteoporosis and more). It’s too difficult to tell you exactly how much you should eat without knowing you, but as a rule of thumb I feel no woman should be under 1200 calories (unless medically supervised), protein should be approximately .06-.08 grams per pound you weigh, carbs 1-1.12 grams per pound and fats under 50 grams. Environment is important, because if a woman has “good” genetics, her behavior is “good” but if she does not have the money and/or means to eat healthy and/or exercise she will not achieve her full potential. If she is in an abusive and/or non supporting environment, she will struggle more and may not achieve her best. Setting yourself up to succeed is crucial. Surround yourself with positive people, healthy individuals and if able, hire a coach for at least a few sessions to help educate you on what exercises and nutrition would be the best for you. Nutrition is the process of providing your body with the necessary nutrients and calories for optimal health. This varies for everyone (as stated earlier), but is a huge factor in a women competing in a pageant.
54
Knowing that your body fat needs to be under 16% and an ideal body fat percentage rage is 18-24% you will need to be on point with your nutrition as it will want to go to the ideal range. This ideal range is great for most of the population, again most women are above 26% with over 40% of our population being above 36% if you’re looking to compete in a pageant (not just do one) you must get lean. Getting lean does not mean cutting out all foods with the exception of 3 or 4 items. What it does mean, is tracking what you’re eating and noting how the food you eat makes you feel, look and what your measurements are. If you want to get leaner, you’re going to have to cut out “junk” and stick to more nutritious foods. In addition to nutrition you will need to exercise.
Weight training/resistance training is ideal for shaping the muscles you have and building lean muscle. Note, 1 pound of muscle is 3 times smaller than a pound of fat, and burns up to 4 times more calories per day. Lifting will not make you big! You need to lift a lot and eat a lot for this to even possibly come true. I suggest most women looking for the pageant look to lift 3 times a week with one day being a leg day, one back and arms and the last glutes and shoulders. Yoga and pilates are ideal for flexibility, mindfulness, elongating muscles and stability. I feel you should do one of these or a combo of 1-2 times a week. Cardio/Aerobic traininggreat for burning more calories and getting your heart rate up. Often times a woman competing in a pageant does not have a lot of muscle mass, does not eat a lot and does hours of cardio. This equates to an emaciated look which is not good. I suggest no less than 20 minutes per session and no more than 45 for 4-5 sessions a week. I also like HIIT (high intensity interval training) for at least half the sessions.
Exercise is defined as an activity that require physical effort. For some this may be lifting weights, others yoga, cardio, pilates, boxing and so on. Much like nutrition, it is too difficult to tell you how much of each you should do without knowing what you look like and your goals, but here are some bullet points to take into consideration If you would like more information on Scott’s training when determining which form of exercise is best: systems, visit his website at www.scottstrainingsystems.com

Featuring Holly Barker and Chase Brody McNary by BodyScape Publisher Sarah lyons And hot it was. Holly Barker is one of the easiest people for me to shoot. We had already decided that she was going to be on the second cover. THEN, I get the call. “S! How would you feel about Chase Brody McNary being on the cover WITH me?!” I did my homework. She didn’t have to ask me twice. The two of them working together is what made this shoot so magical. From our mega mansion location in North Scottsdale, to Zac doing hair and makeup, to our AMAZING video crew, and the synergy of these two together, it was a STELLAR day. It was a shoot to remember. Enjoy this visual treat starting with an interview and images from Chase, followed by Holly.

Chase Brody McNary Chase Brody McNary is a “new age thinking” entrepreneur and Certified Personal Trainer (CPT). After graduating from Colorado State University, he moved directly into a career selling power tools. Two promotions and three years later, he was recruited to selling spinal implants as a medical device sales representative. It was here that Chase really found his passion for helping people better their lives. In a job with rigorous hours in the operating room, his only escape from the stresses of work was at the gym helping his friends and colleagues stay in the best shape possible In 2016 Chase was cast for the 12th season of ABC’s “The Bachelorette” where he finished 2nd runner-up. He found himself with an amazing new platform to pursue a career in an industry that he was already so passionate about. Born and raised in Highlands Ranch, CO. Chase now resides in Scottsdale, AZ. He is a Co-Founder of LeisureLetics, a women’s athletic apparel brand devoted to inspiring young women. ~How did you get here, and how did you get started?
~Where are you from originally?
Health and wellness have always been huge passion of mine. After appearing on ABC’s The Bachelorette in 2016, I was able to leave my career in medical device sales and pursue a career in Fitness modeling and coaching!
I was born and raised in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, a small but reputable metro area just South of Denver.
~How do you feel about being featured in BodyScape Magazine, let alone the cover? I love that Holly and I were able to share this cover. Having a place to show case the hard work that goes into maintaining a fitness body is incredibly rewarding. ~How do you balance work and social media? Social media can be incredibly distracting but if done right can be incredibly lucrative too. Finding a good mixture is important to staying productive on the business side of things. To do that I will allot myself some times where I remove any sort of social media and distractions from my environment to get the necessary work done. ~Highlight of the shoot? This is the first time I have been able to shoot with Holly Barker. Being able to work with someone that is so talented in front of the camera was great time and learning experience. Sarah also uses a small magnifying glass to look at the pictures on her rocket-ship of a camera as they happen. Being able to see the good shots and feeling the excited from everyone involved when we think we hit the cover shot was so fun! ~Fun Hobbies? Some of my fun hobbies include playing my guitar, snowboarding, golfing, mountain biking, and lately I have been obsessed with yoga!
~If you had a chance to go on an all-expenses paid dream vacation, where would you go? I have been dying to head over to New Zealand and Australia. ~A few things people would not know about you? - I played competitive ice hockey for 14 years growing up and was the captain of the the State Championship team when I was a junior in HighSchool - I have appeared on the cover of 3 Fitness magazines and held Spreads in a few more. I also stared in the Latest fall collection Ross Dress for less commercial. - I played rugby in college and got away with no broken bones. Favorite music? Favorite actor? - I can often be found listening to Country music with a dash of Drake and some Hip Hop with Rock Jams when I am working out! Favorite actor. Ryan Reynolds! Dead Pool? C’mon its the best movie! ~Favorite food? Favorite cheat meal? I am a sucker for Mexican Food! They just seem to have all the best recipes figured out. Cheat Meal- Find me at the pizza joint ordering a Pepperoni, Pineapple and Jalapeño Pizza
66
~What is your advice for someone contemplating a photo shoot? Just get comfortable with who you are working with. ~Tell us how you got started, and how you got here! My start in the fitness industry started after I opened my first Anytime Fitness Franchise in 2010 and decided to step on stage in 2011. I put myself to the test and competed for my first time in bikini April 2011. I was approached by a credible photographer to shoot the next day after competing and I jumped at the opportunity! That shoot received three publications with a large fitness magazine and I was hooked from that day forward to continue to travel and do photo shoots with the best in the business. I have grown through the fitness industry through competing, photoshoots, publications and writing. I am ever growing my social platform through the influence I continue to stay passionate about. Since that start, everything in my life has grown and I dedicate that growth to the passion I have for health and fitness. Without it, I wouldn’t have the drive to dream. ~How do you feel about being featured on the cover of BodyScape Magazine? It is an amazing honor! The cover is a photo I am so incredibly proud of. Sarah and I have grown throughout my adventure and she has been a number one support through my every phase. I am so incredibly proud of her and inspired by her drive and passion. It was incredible to work with this team and create something so monumental. Every person there that day and along the way is special to me. ~How do you balance a real life work schedule with being so active on social media? It is a reflection of who I am and what I wish to create. Every day I am blessed with the ability to create. Social media allows me the outlet I need to develop all aspects of my life. It is a privilege to post and to actually have an audience. I am so grateful for this platform and for the growth I have achieved because of the inspirations I have following and inspiring me daily.
~What was the highlight of your shoot with BodyScape publisher Sarah Lyons? Everything. Every time I get to work with Sarah it is a great adventure and so much fun. I love being around her and creating. The team we had to produce these photos was incredible! Chase is a consummate gentleman and his energy is inspiring to be around. Zac, the makeup artist, although it was my first time meeting him, is now my best friend. He is amazing and i’ve never connected so quickly with someone before. The video crew @SwannDive made me feel like a rockstar and their work is so incredible. And Sarah just being the smiling, happy, professional boss babe Sarah. She’s the reason we all came together. Love it! ~Do you have any fun hobbies? Everything i do could be classified as a full time hobby.... hobbies are usually things you do when you have the time to enjoy them and get to choose to do them...i’m truly blessed to live each day through get to’s. training is my passion, creating is my passion, inspiring is my passion, fashion, business, photos, adventures...it’s truly the life I have created and am excited to build upon. ~Where are you from originally? I am from a small town in Saskatchewan Canada Whitewood. This is where I was raised. I attended University in Saskatoon Saskatchewan and started my business in Regina Saskatchewan. I now reside in Kelowna British Columbia and am in transition to Los Angeles California. ~Where would you go if you could take an all expense paid dream vacation anywhere in the world? There isn’t one place. I would love to travel Europe or Asia. I’d love to go and live and be in the culture. I would love to go to South Africa, and I’ve just committed to a service adventure in Guatemala later this year.

~What are a few things people would not know about you?
~How can people find you on social media? ~What can we expect from you next?
I’m not very materialistic. Although I love things, shopping, nice cars and houses, I own what I earn and don’t see a point in wasting a bunch of money on shoes i’ll never wear. I would much rather buy the best hiking shoes out there and go out on an adventure. Ask me to do something active with you and you have my heart. Clubs and expensive restaurants are a waste of time in my opinion.

Emily Bernstein “The race is not always to the swift, but to those who keep on running”. Emily Bernstein has well demonstrated this when she was awarded the Perserverance Award at her high school. Just shy from eighteen, Emily’s resume is quite robust. While still in middle school, Emily won the grand prize in a talent show dancing a lyrical dance solo, competing against about one hundred teens. She then landed the voiceover part of a troll in Nickelodeon’s “Dora and Friends in the Big City.” At just fifteen, Emily was the youngest teen invited as a national top 20 finalist to compete in the first Miss Arnold Teen Fitness Pageant at the Arnold Sports Festival. Excitingly, Emily got to share the stage with Arnold Schwarzenegger as he personally congratulated her for being a national finalist. At sixteen, Emily landed a cover of a national fitness magazine as a teen athlete and also landed a cover for a novel. Emily was crowned 2017 Miss Colorado Teen Earth United States. With her title, Emily was given the opportunity to mentor her peers on living a healthy lifestyle and promoting self love. In realizing that the mind and body have a true connection, Emily inspires teens to put down technology and to keep active with fun activities which will help clear their mind. When she is not leaping across the stage, Emily enjoys singing broadway show tunes in the shower, watching sunsets, modeling fitness and prom wear, spiraling footballs and riding horses. She also spends time working for Students For Soldiers, a charity she founded that collects letters from schools and sends them overseas to active soldiers. In the future, Emily has aspirations to become a sports broadcaster and an NFL or NBA cheerleader.

Jeremy Edward Noble, AKA “Jez” By Sarah Lyons BodyScape Publisher In each issue of BodyScape Magazine, We like To close the issue with the work of another fabulous artist. I am honored to present the work of one of my closest friends, and longtime colleague, Jeremy Edward Noble, or as his friends so fondly address him, Jez. Jez has been working with me for the entire duration of my career as a photographer. He taught me lighting, how to read a light meter, and so many different things about photography that helped to mold me to who I am today as an artist. Jez is one of the most intelligent artists I know. You’ll see in this pictorial of his work that he really knows his stuff, and I am excited to present it to you. Enjoy this visual journey of the work of Jeremy Edward Noble. @Lebateur on Instagram

Bio I Moved to the USA from England at the beginning of this century, having decided to end a career in music. I spent twenty years recording, performing, and touring which is closely related in it’s disciplines to the visual world of photography. Working with other photographers and producers has led me to a fascination with light and it’s use and manipulation in both the motion picture world as well as still photography; the goal of increasing my work as a Director Of Photography (DP) is ongoing. I have worked in both fields for the last eighteen years with some wonderfully talented people on both sides of the camera for a variety of projects and publications. My teenage children keep me well grounded and focussed on the important things in life.
