Q: DOES IT REALLY MATTER TO BE CONSISTENT WITH HOW MY MATERIALS LOOK FOR MY BUSINESS?
A: There’s a reason why 94% of the world’s population recognizes the Coca-Cola logo. Two words – brand consistency! Being consistent in your branding helps people recognize your business more easily. In turn, this helps build trust and loyalty with current and future customers, increasing your business. No matter how you’re advertising, if you consistently present your brand you could increase your revenue by up to 23%, according to Forbes. So how do you start building brand consistency? A great first step is creating a mission statement that helps clarify and keep everyone on the same page as to what your brand’s goal is. Once you know what your mission is, we can help you create brand guidelines that will put purpose behind your marketing efforts. This will act as a clear framework for what your brand’s voice, look and feel is, making it easy to be consistent.
At HexaHive, we're here to help you achieve that consistency and make your brand more recognizable. Just email info@ hexahive.co to schedule your free consultation and get started!
Q: IS THERE AN EASIER WAY TO CUT AND PASTE?
A: The short answer is yes. The focus here will be on Microsoft Word. Perhaps you already know how to copy/ paste text and images using a mouse, and the keyboard shortcuts CTRL+C/CTRL+V. But anyone who copies, then pastes, copies, then pastes, copies and pastes ... (you get the idea) is wasting time.
Copy what you need, then copy the second item, then copy the third ... until you have copied all the text or images you need. Then use the Windows Clipboard History to paste the items where needed. To get to your clipboard history, press Windows logo key + V. From the clipboard history, you can paste and pin frequently used items by choosing an individual item from your clipboard menu. Pinning an item keeps it from being removed from the clipboard history to make room for new items. Place your cursor where you need something pasted. Press Windows logo key + V, then double click the text or image that you want to paste.
