PUTTING OUR HORSES FIRST. Funds raised by the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance support 74 accredited organizations and thousands of off-track Thoroughbreds. Since 2012, the TAA has granted more than $17.2 million to organizations accredited through a rigorous process and on-site inspections.

ull steam ahead into 2021 was our motto as we successfully managed to stay afloat during 2020. Everyone can agree these have been unpredictable waters for all. Unity has found its way into all of our hearts through many different avenues last year. Across the world everything changed. As a growing business we scaled back, we performed on smaller levels. We embraced our valuable contacts and nurtured our relationships. As a publication we managed to remain buoyant. We shrunk our team, we worked from home, we changed the way we did photoshoots, printed and published our product. But we did publish and we grew stronger and are completely overwhelmed by our growth during these times. I truly believe as we near the horizon we have our equestrian friends, brands and our readers to thank for our survival and our sanity. Hands folded in thanks to all of you. Please enjoy our Spring issue and we look forward to smooth sailing into Summer. Ok, as I’m reading over this and realized there are a bunch of nautical terms inflicted into my prose. I must be in need of a yacht. Now that could be a cool photoshoot, any takers? Peace and Happiness, Shelli Wright Editor in Chief

compiled by EQluxe And so it was that an audience of 100 guests— ferried to a gently rolling wheat field near Us (pronounced “oose”) in the French Vexin Regional Natural Park, about an hour outside Paris. Snaking through the wheat, a dramatic wood plank runway ran 600 meters long, a setup the designer said was meant to evoke authenticity as well as the brand’s more romantic side. During a preshow interview, Simon Porte Jacquemus said he wanted his collection to talk of love and celebration, “like a simple country wedding or a harvest festival.” With everyone cocooning at home, he wanted to create something “bubble-like” to represent the moment. The collection L’Amour celebrates the strength of love and togetherness, even in times when people have to stay apart.
