Brisbane is a not for profit, charitable organisation setup by the ardent devotees of Shri Sai Baba since July 2015. The organisation has been conducting numerous events and functions in a year to raise funds for buying land to construct a Temple in Brisbane.

The Shirdi Sai SansthanBrisbane, celebrated Ram Navami (Lord Ram’s Birthday) with Baba’s divine blessings. Ram Navami is an important Hindu festival , celebrated every year on the ninth day of Chaitra month (first month in the Hindu Lunar Calendar)

On 1st April 2023, the Sansthan organised the most divine Ram Navami celebrations, Bhajans , cultural program , Keertan, followed by Palkhi and Bhojan Prasad(dinner). The celebration was witnessed by some over 200 people. The function was carried out at the Coopers Plains state school.

In the evening just before the Aarti, the devotees danced with a Ram parivar Palkhi. All of the above celebrations were conducted keeping the COVID safe guidelines into consideration at the Coopers Plains State

School.

One of the most important announcements made by the Sai Sansthan on this occasion was the accquistion of land to build the Shirdi Sai Temple in Brisbane. The Sansthan has successfully accquired permission to build the Sai

Temple in Browns Plains.

The Sansthan would also like to reach out to everyone in the community to help them in raising funds to build the most beautiful Sai Temple.

The Sansthan conducts Sai Bhajans and Arti’s every second and 4th Saturday at

Coopers Plains State School from 6pm onwards. These events are regularly published on the WhatsApp group and on the Facebook page run by the Sansthan. Every devotee is free to offer support or volunteer in any form.
