successful Tribute concert honours late Kathak legend Pt birju Maharaj

– Nritya Bharati School of Kathak Dance is proud to announce the success of its tribute concert to the late Kathak legend Pt Birju Maharaj, held on April 29th. The concert was a resounding success, with a houseful audience in attendance.

Nritya Bharati School took the opportunity of their annual concert to honour the legacy of Pt Birju Maharaj. The concert was a testament to the dedication and hard work of the students, parents, and volunteers who helped make it possible.

"We are thrilled with the success of the tribute concert," said Namita Debroy, Director/Choreographer at Nritya Bharati School. "It was an honour to organize an event that paid tribute to such a legendary figure in the Kathak community. We are grateful to all those who attended and supported us, and to the students who worked tirelessly to prepare for the concert."

Namita Debroy went on to express her pride in the students who performed, saying, "The skills and talent of our students were on full display, and it was a privilege to see them honour the legacy of Pt Birju Maharaj."
