Association Bjcem

The BJCEM, Biennale des jeunes créateurs de l’Europe et de la Méditerranée, is an international network founded in Sarajevo, July 2001 during the X edition of the homonymous event. The Network is composed by 59 members from 20 Countries gathering Cultural Institutions as well as Independent Organizations. We have also established collaborations with partners all over Europe, Middle East, Africa and more widely with organization and projects focused on the Mediterranean Diaspora. The aim of the Association is to create opportunities for the young artists to produce and showcase their works and to support their mobility and learning process. Bjcem is an independent organization, open to anyone who shares our aim and interests without cultural, religious, political, social or moral distinction. We are member of the Anna Lindh Foundation and the Culture Action Europe network.
