Greg Pilarowski and Family: Meet
Hoop
Dreams in Blackhawk

One of the newest members on the Blackhawk HOA Board, Greg, his wife, Anna, and their 15-year-old son Dante have called Blackhawk home since 2013. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Greg has lived all over the world including Columbus, Stockholm, Sichuan, Boston, Costa Rica, New York, London, Argentina, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Florence, Barcelona, Paris, and of course, Blackhawk.
“I earned a BA in International Relations from Ohio State University, where I also played NCAA Division 1 lacrosse. After college, I taught English in China’s Sichuan province before pursuing a JD from Harvard Law School,” says Greg. His professional journey began with Sullivan & Cromwell, a Wall Street law firm, where he worked in New York, Hong Kong, and Beijing. He then joined Shanda, a Nasdaq-listed internet company, as general counsel, working with founder Chen Tianqiao, who was the wealthiest man in China at that time. After leaving Shanda, he wrote a novel under the pen name Nathan Green, called The Great Firewall, drawing on his experiences. Subsequently, he founded Pillar Legal, a boutique international law firm with offices in Shanghai and San Francisco, providing services to technology companies.
Greg and Anna met in Shanghai in 2005 when they were both living in the city for work. Born and raised in Beijing, China, Anna moved to the US as a teenager. The couple’s only son, Dante, was born in Shanghai in 2009. “We knew we would eventually want to move
back to the US, with the San Francisco Bay Area being our top choice. In 2011, we began making trips back and searching all over the Bay Area for our new home. When we saw Blackhawk for the first time, we fell in love with the place and knew it was meant for us. We bought a home on Deer Hollow Drive in 2012 and moved in a year later. Now we have been here for over a decadehow time flies!” says Greg.
Greg says he recently felt called to run for a position on the Blackhawk HOA board. “I became involved with the Blackhawk HOA after receiving a violation letter for our driveway basketball hoop. I saw basketball hoops all over Blackhawk, so I couldn’t understand why I received the notice one day after we put up our hoop. There weren’t any rules against it then in the summer of 2021. A year later, the HOA passed a new rule that said portable basketball hoops must not be visible from the street when not actively in use. This was not possible for us as our hoop is heavy and can’t roll over the stones in our yard. Thus, the only way to comply with the new rule would have been to get rid of our hoop. As a result, Dante and I decided to submit a petition to the HOA to withdraw the new rule. I also decided to run for the board of the HOA and was elected in the summer of 2023. The board has decided to let the community vote on the issue. Being a member of the Blackhawk HOA board takes up much of my free time. We meet monthly, and the board packets for those meetings can be up to 500 pages. Most directors also serve on a subcommittee, such as the architectural committee or the judiciary committee. We, of course, urge the residents of Blackhawk to vote yes on hoops freedom this
summer. Since we moved in a decade ago, one of the best changes has been more and more kids moving into our neighborhood. When we first arrived, Dante was the only kid, but now he has so many friends right next door. That is wonderful. That is also why now, when we have more and more kids, we can’t align with passing a rule banning driveway basketball. We should be welcoming families
with children, and we should help parents encourage their kids to put the screens down and play outside, like we all used to when we were growing up.”
Greg and Anna’s son, Dante, recently graduated from The Seven Hills School in Walnut Creek. Dante plays piano, speaks Chinese and French, loves drawing by hand and on the computer. He also skis and surfs. He was recently accepted to his firstchoice high school, The Bishops School in La Jolla, San Diego. Because of this the Pilarowski family has made the difficult decision to leave Blackhawk in the fall and relocate to San Diego for Dante’s education.
Seeing Blackhawk and specifically, their neighborhood of Deer Hollow Drive become so diverse over the years has been a highlight of the family’s time in Blackhawk. “Our neighbors are from India, Syria, Pakistan, Iran, China, Chicago and San Leandro! We really enjoy meeting our neighbors and getting together for backyard barbecues. We hope Blackhawk will continue to welcome more families with children and more diversity to the community and not ban driveway basketball.”

Little River Inn: 5 Generations Hosting Guests Wanting to Unwind, Play Nine and Drink Wine
By Mike L. McColgan, Resident since 1990
When you talk about the top 100 Golf Courses in the world names like Augusta, Pine Valley, St. Andrews, Cypress Point and Pebble Beach are always mentioned and discussed. Having been on all these courses, one that should be included in the conversation is a 9- hole course perched proudly on the deep blue Pacific Ocean called the Little River Inn.
Recently, we had the pleasure to stay and play golf at this warm and friendly refuge.
Cally Dym is a 5th Generation Innkeeper. Marc Dym has been Executive Chef for many years.
According to Cally, “The Inn sits on our original home built by my great grandfather Silas Combs in 1863. My grandparents Ole and Cora Hervilla turned our house into an Inn eight decades ago and the family is still happy on the job doing what it takes to make you feel more than welcome.”
Situated on 225 Acres, there are sixty-five ocean view and Ada rooms, a dining room and bar, and a nine-hole golf course with pro shop and day spa. The Inn also offers free lodging for kids 16 and under and will provide petfriendly accommodation.
This is also a beautiful place for a romantic getaway, executive retreat, or wedding.
From our home in Danville, California, it is a 3.5-hour drive unless you stop at one of the many wineries in Sonoma, Alexander Valley, or Anderson Valley. We took our time and began in Sonoma at Viansa. This beautiful winery overlooks the valley with an extensive gift shop, deli, and some nicely priced wines. The Viansa Italian Cherry Chutney is a must purchase. The winery also has a library that offers private parties, tastings and filled with some great wines. It is a wonderful place to celebrate a special event. We especially enjoyed their Sangiovese Reserve.
Next, we visited Jacuzzi Family Vineyards that offered tastings of a variety of pressed olives. We also enjoyed the Fig Balsamic Olive Press and sampled their various wines.
Husch was our next stop on the winding and picturesque Highway 128. The Husch property has picnic tables and a small wooden tasting cabin that accommodates up to ten people. We especially enjoyed their Mendocino Zinfandel.
Across from Husch was Roederer Estate. The elegant tasting room sits high on a hill and has panoramic views of the valley. They produce over 100.000 cases annually and we sampled their sparkling wines. We took home a couple bottles of Rose that was recently served at a White House dinner with the French President,
Our nicely stocked wine van was now ready for the balance of the Grand Prix like drive through the stately redwood trees. The combination of the various tastings and afternoon sun glistening through the massive trees was like being on the highway to heaven.
Arriving at the Little River Inn, a special feeling of calmness surrounds you as you enter the circular driveway of the moon Ray white painted Inn perched high above the deep blue Pacific Ocean.
The rooms are clean and spacious and the first thing you notice is the large windows with a fireplace, deck and rocking chairs to soothe your soul watching the beauty and sound of the ocean right out your door. Our room also had a refrigerator to stock some of our wine purchases.
Breakfast is served daily in the restaurant, and you can also have it delivered to your room.
The famous Ole’s Whale Watch Bar opened in 1939. When the bar opened, beer sold for 10 cents and scotch and bourbon for 25 cents Today the bar is famous for Bloody Mary’s and Martini’s.
It is also the best place on the Mendocino coast to watch for whales. It opens at 4 pm and is full of energy and feels like you were in a pub in Ireland full of lots of happy, friendly people enjoying life. After some of their hand shaken martini’s, many claim to have even spotted some whales. They have outstanding calamari, and a few other items to snack on before dinner.
Nearby the Inn is the iconic town of Mendocino with shops, restaurants, and the Botanical Garden walking tour. The tour is a relaxing way to enjoy the beauty of the Pacific Coast.
The Little River Inn Golf Course is a place where God would choose to play. Like everything at the Little River Inn, it has a colorful history. Ole Hervilla was watching Arnold Palmer on TV in the 50’s and decided a golf course would draw more patrons. He opened the course in 1957. It is an Audubon-certified sanctuary with deer wandering around the greens and blue heron, frogs, rabbits, raccoons, enjoying life in the pastoral setting of regal redwoods and pine trees. There are also 2 lighted tennis courts next to the golf course.
The challenging 9-hole course is friendly for all skill levels. It can play like 18 with 3 tee placements and dual greens on number 7 and 9. Number 8 and 9 overlook the Inn and have a backdrop of the Pacific Ocean for a memorable finish. Green fees are $30 for 9 holes and $45 for 18. A fully stocked pro shop with golf carts, pull carts and rental clubs are also available. It is a terrific way to start your day at the Inn.
After golf, you can arrange for a massage to insure you look and feel great. The spa service is available from 10-5 each day and a perfect way to relax, indulge and rejuvenate your aching bones and tired mind overloaded with the high-tech communications in our modern world.
Dinner is served every night in the spacious dining room. We enjoyed a great bottle of Rafanelli Zinfandel to go with our dinner that included clam chowder, rigatoni. fish stew, fish and chips, and a delicious fresh berry dessert.
We would highly recommend that you add the Little River Inn to your “must do” bucket list.

Stop Dieting, Embrace
The Foods You Love: A Path To Lasting Weight Loss
By Kristin Jones, CEO/Owner of Kristin Jones Coaching
Have you ever watched someone effortlessly maintain a healthy weight while enjoying delicious food? That was me observing my dad. Intrigued by his intuitive approach, I tried to copy him. Initially, the freedom felt overwhelming, but it sparked a journey that led to my current passion: helping emotional eaters develop a healthy relationship with food and themselves.
My dad’s secret? Simple – 2-3 meals of food he genuinely loved. This philosophy became the foundation of my “Breakthrough Method,” a successful approach to lasting weight loss for countless women. But before we dive into the “how,” let’s explore the powerful “why” behind it.
The 3 Whys of Eating What You Love: Freedom from Deprivation: Restrictive diets fuel the fire of overeating. When foods are forbidden, they become irresistible. My method flips this script. By allowing all foods, we eliminate the fear of scarcity and build trust in our ability to manage emotions around food. Food loses its power over us.
Effortless Portion Control: Enjoying your favorite foods, not depriving yourself, leads to greater satisfaction. This makes it easier to stop eating when you’re full. We ditch the “last chance” mentality that drives overeating. Knowing food is always available allows your brain to relax and stop seeking more in the moment.
No More Food Shaming: Forget “good” and “bad” food labels! Judging food creates a vicious cycle – unsatisfying “good” food followed by “bad” food to numb the discomfort. All food is simply food. Enjoy it mindfully, without guilt.
How to Truly Eat What You Love: Give Yourself Permission: Chronic dieters struggle to rewrite their food narrative. Make a list of forbidden foods and gradually add them back in.
One Food Category: There are no longer “good” or “bad” foods. There’s just FOOD. All options are on the table.
The “Food Isn’t Going Anywhere” Mantra: This simple phrase changed my life. It reminds us that food is always available, so we don’t need to overeat in the moment.
Eating what you love is a form of self-care. It’s a way to show yourself love, respect, and honor. Let go of deprivation and embrace a life of freedom with food.

Thai Salad with Kaffir Lime Leaf
Serves 4
By Parisa Z. Ambwani, Resident since 1983
Green Salad:
• 4 cups spinach OR 4 cups mixed baby green (spinach, red and green Swiss chard, and arugula), torn into 1-inch pieces
• 2 cups Napa cabbage, cored, torn into bite size pieces
• 2 tablespoons mint leaves, chopped
• 2 tablespoons basil leaves, chopped
Kafir Lime Dressing:
• 1 cup olive oil
• 4 kaffir lime leaves*, chopped
• 2 tablespoons lemon juice
• 2 teaspoons ginger root, grated
• 2 teaspoons Japanese rice vinegar
• 2 teaspoons honey
• ¾ teaspoon sea salt OR to taste
• ¼ teaspoon black pepper, ground
• 2 celery stakes, diced (about 1 cup)
• Garnish: 2 cups radish sprouts**
Green Salad:
In a large salad bowl gently mix salad greens (spinach, cabbage, mint, and basil).
Kafir Lime Dressing:
Add the following to the blender (olive oil, kafir lime leaves, lemon juice, ginger root, rice vinegar, honey, salt and black pepper and celery) and blend well (taste and make adjustment if necessary). Sprinkle ¾ of this dressing over the green salad and gently toss (save remaining dressing in refrigerator and use within a few days). Garnish with radish sprouts. Serve this nutritious salad with “Tasty Oat Bran Muffin”, page 35.
*Kaffir Lime Leaves, have an intense lime flavor and fragrance. They are used in Tai and Vietnamese cooking in simmering sauces. They can also be finely chopped and used in salads and when cooking fish. If kaffir lime leaves are not available, you may substitute lime zest or lemongrass (substitute ¼ teaspoon lime zest for 2 kaffir lime leaves).
**Radish sprouts are nutritious and can be used as a peppery accent in various salads and dishes.

Niner’s News
By Fran Davis
The summer is flying by and there are many more months ahead with spectacular weather and not quite as hot as the July heat wave to get out to play this game that we all love. Our annual member tournament was held on July 11th. This year’s theme was the Kentucky Derby. Read more about this wonderful event in next month’s issue.
Charm Day is always the highlight of the month, with participating golfers paying just $5.00 each for the sweeps (golf shop credit) and awarded to Niners with low gross, low net and low putts. The overall low net winner is the Charm Day winner for the month. After a morning of friendly competition, the ladies gather for lunch to laugh, socialize and chat about the ‘charm’ of the game. It’s always fun to see the tables decorated with creative centerpieces and winners announced. June’s table centerpieces were created by Linda McColgan.
Warmest welcome to our newest member, Laura Gross. If you are interested in joining the Niner’s, please contact our Membership Chair, Leslie Sprague at lesliesprage@comcast.net

Mustang Soccer Updates
By Dana Tsubota
Mustang Soccer Club revamped their complex, Provident Fields, in June with a new paint job and a resurfaced parking lot. The striking red accents can be seen around the office building and in the parking lot. The project began June 3, 2024 and ended June 13, 2024. Members had to move through an obstacle course of painters, equipment and caution tape during the ten days of work, but have expressed their love for the updates and think the red is a great addition that boasts Mustang pride.
The HOX Swim Team Fostering Friendships and Fun
By Stacie Mihalik
The Blackhawk Swim Team (HOX) may be a swim team that demonstrates hard work and dedication in the water, but there’s more to them than just swimming. It’s a group that doesn’t shy away from fun! Throughout the summer, the HOX have hosted numerous social events, fostering friendships among the swimmers beyond just being teammates. In June, team photos were followed by a fun pool party where swimmers and their parents enjoyed a lunch provided by Blackhawk Country Club. The kids had a blast lounging on pool floats and showcasing their best dives off of the diving board.
The next event was an opportunity for the HOX moms to relax and spend some time together. Hosted at the local Meenar Music Club in downtown Danville, moms were transported to the streets of Paris. The Parisian theme translated into themed hors d’oeuvres, drinks and décor. Moms even left with a special HOX handmade gift.
Not to be outdone by older swimmers, swimmers age 8 and under had their own party. Once again, pool floats ruled the day and swimmers took breaks to partake in various games and activities. Included in this party were the mini-HOX swimmers. The mini-HOX program exposes children to the fun and excitement of participating on a recreational swim team, with the potential to participate on the HOX Swim Team in the coming year or two.
One of the most beloved events of the HOX season is the annual Lip Sync. The HOX swimmers and their families enjoy a BBQ dinner on the lawn, while HOX swimmers of all ages showcase their talent. Talent ranged from cute as a button five-year-olds lip syncing a song about Barbie to a group of nine and ten year old boys in matching sequined blazers with perfectly choreographed moves. Whether they wore costumes or not, these swimmer/ performers gave it their all!
The HOX are truly about more than just swimming. The numerous social events held throughout the summer highlight the team’s commitment to fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among swimmers and their families. To learn more about the HOX or mini-HOX program visit www.hoxswim.com.
BUILDING BRAND LOYALTY
By Jo Peek Expert Contributor
A great ad campaign isn’t just about attracting new customers. It also drives awareness and maintains brand loyalty. Advertising plays a key role in creating brand loyalty by influencing both purchasing decisions and emotional connections. By building top-of-mind awareness, showcasing product benefits, and evoking positive emotions, advertising becomes more than just a sales pitch. It promotes a deeper connection and bridges the gap between your brand and your audience.
▶ CREATE TOP-OF-MIND AWARENESS
Forget competing with giants in a crowded marketplace. As a small business, your secret weapon is personal connection. Establishing top-of-mind awareness within your local community isn’t about outspending everyone else, it’s about being present and memorable. When your brand is consistently present and engaging with your target audience, you become the first name they think of when considering products or services in your category. Monthly magazines packed with local stories and received by trusted households can build that familiarity for your brand.
▶ HIGHLIGHT PRODUCT BENEFITS
How do your products or services solve problems, meet needs, and create value for your customers? Start by identifying what makes your product unique and different from competitors. Knowing your unique selling proposition lets you prioritize the features that truly resonate with your ideal audience. Once you’ve identified those features, you can effectively advertise them through a visual and compelling design.
▶ EVOKE POSITIVE EMOTION
Emotions are a key ingredient to brand loyalty. Well-crafted advertising can evoke positive emotions and connect with your audience on a new level, further strengthening the bond between them and your brand. In fact, campaigns with purely emotional content perform about twice as well (31% vs. 16%) as those with only rational content1. By tapping into positive feelings like joy, humor, or inspiration, people are more likely to develop a sense of attachment and preference, ultimately becoming loyal advocates who choose you over competitors time and time again.

Is There a Strawberry Craze, Or Is It Just Me?
By Michelle Barry, Resident since 2018
Lately, I’ve been noticing a plethora of items adorned with strawberries. Balloons shaped like strawberries, onesies featuring strawberries, and various articles of clothing embellished with this fruity motif have caught my eye. Additionally, there’s been an abundance of strawberry-themed Stitchery projects— needlepoint, embroidery, and sewing—popping up, alongside painting projects centered around strawberries. Here’s a glimpse of some of the delightful discoveries I’ve made:

I think you could create your own, but pehr. com has a strawberry onesie:

Kerala Diaries: An unforgettable vacation experience
By Sonia Lamba, Resident since 2015 | Images by Sonia Lamba
Kerala, often referred to as “God’s Own Country”, is a Southern Getaway in India, located on the tropical Malabar Coast, has nearly 600km of Arabian Sea shoreline, and offers a unique blend of natural beauty, cultural richness, and unparalleled hospitality. This picturesque state is known for its Coconut Palm-lined beaches and backwaters, network of canals, magnificent houseboats, rolling hills of lush-green spice and tea plantations as well as wildlife (elephants and tigers).
Starting in Kochi, I was immediately captivated by the city’s vibrant mix of historical and modern influences. It was all evident in the charming streets of Fort Kochi with its colonial architecture and lively art scene, bustling markets and historic landmarks like Mattanchery Palace and Jewish Synagogue. One of the most iconic sights was the Chinese Fishing Nets, a legacy of ancient trade relations, lining the waterfront of this port city. Watching the fisherman skillfully operate these massive nets against the backdrop of the setting sun was a mesmerizing experience, providing a glimpse into city’s maritime heritage.
One of the highlights of my recent 12-day trip was a visit to the Kerala Kathakali Center in Kochi where I watched the traditional dance form “Kathakali”, known for its elaborate costumes and expressive gestures. The performance began with an introduction to the intricate makeup process, which itself was a fascinating spectacle. As the dancers took to the stage, their vibrant allure and emotive expressions brought ancient stories and mythologies to life. The rhythmic music and powerful storytelling created an immersive experience that left me in awe.
To be continued…
As an aspiring photographer, I have always loved taking beautiful photos of my friends and family, nature and travels. After having a fulfilling career in finance in New York, I moved to California in 2014 where my love for photography turned into an invigorating passion. Moving to gorgeous Blackhawk has further enriched and blossomed my love for the camera. I take my camera everywhere, regardless of how short the distance is. Knowing me, there is always a photo opportunity!

Colorado’s Red Sky Ranch –Fazio
By Chuck Fox, Owner, Quintessential Golf, Resident since 2012
Ranked #3 Public Course in State
Nestled near the infamous Vail and Beaver Creek Resort regions in the Rocky Mountains, Red Sky Golf Club offers two scenic mountain courses, the Fazio, and the Norman. I come to soak up John Denver’s Rocky Mountain high as a golf enthusiast. As an upscale semi-private club, they limit public access to guests of thirty-five Vail and Beaver Creek properties. Play alternates between each course between public guests and the private membership.
First-class service and conditioning are a hallmark of Red Sky Ranch. The exquisite playing conditions impressed me while the incredible mountain scenery marveled me. They treat visitors like members starting with the valet service at the bag drop. I would have liked to see GPS on the golf carts though.
Golf Magazine ranking of public access courses puts the Fazio course at #3 and the Norman course at #1 in the state of Colorado.
Fazio course opened in 2002. It plays 200-300 yards shorter from each teeing area and is less challenging than its younger sibling, the Norman course. Fairway topography is rolling as they run it back and forth along the mountainside, but you never feel a significant incline/decline during your adventure. I liked the 10% distance boost I got by playing above 7000 feet altitude. But don’t think if you normally play 6300 yards at home, that you
Find other high-resolution photos at: https://www. quintessentialgolf.com/ destinations/red-skyranch-fazio/
should play from the 7000+ yard tips here. Give yourself about 5% when determining the course yardage to play.
Although the layout enjoys serious elevation changes, the Red Sky Golf Club Fazio terrain is not as severe as the Norman course. Great views from elevated tees with downhill holes provide a unique sense of beauty.
Fazio has shaped wide fairway. Frequent undulating mounds makes some fairways look much tighter than the reality. They line Fairways with 3-4 inches of rough about ten to twenty feet wide. Beyond that is the desert with natural sand, rock, and brush and long wispy fescue grasses.
The challenge is on the greens. Large, undulating, and fast, they will test your touch in every way. Greens were immaculate and tour quality stimping out at 11. That’s tour level fast. I four-putted only once though. Only a narrow two-foot collar around the greens prevented the ball from hoping into deep thick grass.
They scatter spectacular mountain chalets, made of rich dark wood and rock, above the course on large parcels of land.
With the increased distance in the mountains and the generous fairways, the Red Sky Golf Club Fazio course is not so difficult. The key is hitting greens, then handling their undulations and speed. That’s even harder to do with the mountain scenery distraction. A good distraction though.
If You Go:
Course Info - Red Sky Ranch & Golf Club comprises two eighteen-hole golf courses - Fazio and Norman. Red Sky is a private membership club with limited access for guests of its resort.
Fees: Up to $350 depending on packages. Significant discount with stay and play packages and seasonal rates.
Location - Wolcott, Colorado in the Rocky Mountains. Twenty miles west of Vail and Beaver Creek. One hundred and forty miles west of the Denver International Airport.
Lodging - They extend Playing privileges to guests of thirty-five partner lodging properties. Beaver Creek Stay and Play and Vail Stay and Play packages provide discounted golf by staying in these specific properties. Quintessential Golf (https://www.quintessentialgolf.com)

Push Present Gift Ideas from the Grandparents!
By Steve Padis, Padis Jewelry
My wife, Judy, and I welcomed our sixth grandchild, Aurora Reagan, into the world last year, so of course, new parents and babies have certainly been on our minds. When our son-in-law Andrew approached us for push-present ideas to gift to his wife, Alexis, we of course had lots of ideas!
What is a push present you ask? Simply put, it is a gift given as a token of celebration over the birth of a baby. The gift is just for the new mom. It is something that makes her feel special and appreciated after just going through one of the most challenging and most rewarding tasks in life. A push gift puts the focus back on the new mom. She deserves something special that makes her feel cherished. Jewelry offers a tangible reminder of the first few moments with her new child — and of your thoughtfulness — that she can wear every day. The new parent or the new grandparents can choose to present a push gift after the birth of the new addition to the family. No matter who gives the push gift, the goal is to make the new mom feel loved and appreciated.
Birthstone and Personalized Jewelry
Personalized jewelry offers a tailored touch to the push gift concept. It commemorates the birth month of the newest member of the family. Each time the new mom looks at the birthstone jewelry, she remembers the time when she became a mom. Birthstone options come in all categories of jewelry, including earrings, bracelets and necklaces.
Personalized jewelry also starts a tradition for future babies. Add to her collection of push present jewelry to represent all of her children. Like a birthstone, an initial or name plate adds a personalized touch that represents the new family member. If you already know the baby’s name, you can easily purchase a piece of jewelry with the first name or initial before the birth. If you want to symbolize the changing composition of your family, incorporate the initials of the parents.
Sparkling Diamond Earrings
Earrings work well as a push present because they are something the new mom can wear every day and regardless of ring or show size – diamond earrings always fit and make the wearer feel special. Diamond solitaire earrings offer a classic, versatile option, but push present earrings can be any style or shape. The earrings don’t need a special connection to the birth itself. Simply receiving the earrings on the day her child is born is enough to make them special. Each time she slips them into her ears, she’ll fondly remember your love and the birth of her child.
An Additional Band to Complement Her Wedding Ring
The wedding ring she wears every day represents your love and takes her back to your wedding day. It is a very important symbol to show your strength and commitment to one another. The birth of a child is just as monumental as getting married. With a new baby in the picture, that love you share continues to grow. Choose a band that fits beside her wedding ring, paying close attention to the style of the original band to ensure they look good together. We at Padis can provide suggestions for bands that will work well. Each time she gazes at her hand, she’ll not only remember her love for you but also the growing love your family has, thanks to the birth of your new baby.
A New Timepiece
Cell phones may be the go-to way to tell time, but an elegant designer watch is still a relevant and useful accessory in a new mom’s life. Not only will a new watch keep her on time for those pediatrician appointments and play dates; it also decorates her wrist with a sophisticated style. Choose a watch that fits her style and the way she might use it. Luminescent hands and easy-to-read numbers make the watch visible even in a dark nursery or under sleep-deprived conditions.
Whatever your role in the expectant mother’s life, make her baby’s birth special with a push gift. A thoughtful jewelry gift gives her a keepsake she’ll always cherish that reminds her of you and of the day that changed her life forever. Now that you know what a push present is, you’re ready to pick out the perfect gift! Head on over to any Padis Jewelry location and our consultants will be happy to help you pick out the perfect push present.
We treasure the generations of families who allow us to become a part of their most precious moments. Please feel to reach out if we can answer any questions and if we can be of assistance at concierge@padisjewelry.com.
