Broadway Stars Coming This Month to The Jazz Room at Village Theatre & Art Gallery!

There’s a new Jazz Series at Village Theatre & Art Gallery, brought to you by The Jazz Room! No, it’s not a jazz club, but its a room within the the walls of Village Theatre & Art Gallery where once a month wonderful, world class, inspiring music is shared and enjoyed by patrons visiting from near and far! As the Artistic Director and Producer, I bring talented musicians and aspiring young musicians to The Jazz Room once a month with the mission to enhance performing and cultural arts in Danville and surrounding towns. The Inception of The Jazz Room was in January 2017 and has been well received by patrons and performers throughout the Bay Area. Beginning our third season, I am thrilled to partner once again with The Town of Danville to bring National and International talent to the stage.
A professional singer/songwriter myself, you may hear me singing with a trio, band or harpist at Village Theatre & Art Gallery. I find great inspiration meeting, and collaborating with talented artists who bring their talent to The Jazz Room. I also enjoy meeting residents and patrons within the Danville Community, and from all over the Bay Area. It’s very rewarding to know I am contributing to the enhancement of performing and cultural arts in our wonderful town.
We are celebrating our two year mark January 18th @ 8pm with Broadway Stars Jim Caruso and Billy Stritch who are coming from NYC and bringing the iconic show Jim Caruso’s Cast Party with Billy Stritch at the Piano! You never know which STAR will show up! Cast Party is a wildly popular happening that has brought glitz and urbane wit to the legendary Birdland in New York City every Monday night since 2003. It’s a hilariously impromtu variety show where superstars and up and comers deliver jaw dropping musical performances. As the New Times says “ Cast Party is show business heaven!” Complimentary appetizers and one glass of wine will be provided from 7pm to 8pm. Come celebrate with us!
