Dear Neighbors,

When it comes to Fourth of July Celebrations, there is no need to leave the gates to celebrate America’s independence in style. The Blackhawk Country Club’s annual Fourth of July Extravaganza is one of my family’s favorite events in the community. We love seeing the smiles on the kids’ faces as they go on the carnival rides and visit with friends, but our favorite part is cuddling up on a blanket to watch the spectacular show in the sky after dark. Our community Independence Day Celebration is just one of the many ways to show your patriotism and celebrate America’s independence.

We are devoted to sharing stories, events and news among our neighbors in this wonderful community. If you have a story, event or news to share, please email me at mscott@ bestversionmedia.com.

Wishing your family a very happy Fourth of July Holiday!

Warmly,

Megan Scott

Aria Jendreski: Meet

Enhancing Beauty One Strand at a Time

Working closely every day with individuals facing severe health challenges, from life-threatening conditions to various degrees of hair loss across different ages, has profoundly impacted Aria’s outlook on life. It has taught her the invaluable lesson of not sweating the small stuff and focusing on what truly matters. As the founder of Moxi Loxi, a company that provides compassionate and innovative solutions to those experiencing hair loss, Aria says sees first hand how feeling good about yourself and a little empathy can change someone’s life, “At Moxi Loxi, my mission is to help clients rediscover their confidence and beauty through our specialized hair loss products and services. The unpredictability of life, and the stories of those I help through Moxi Loxi, remind me daily to cherish every moment and treat each day as a precious gift. It underscores the importance of nurturing and valuing the bonds we share with loved ones, as we never know what tomorrow may bring. This outlook motivates me to contribute positively to our community, support my family through challenges, and appreciate the strength drawn from our shared experiences.”

Aria says her journey in the hair business started when she was young, “My career choice was heavily influenced by my family. My grandfather wore a toupee, my mom always

had a variety of hair accessories, and my aunt sold Avon. I loved the mini lipsticks she would give me. Growing up in a Hispanic culture, the women in my family always took pride in their hair, makeup, and overall appearance. I’ve always been captivated by the transformative power of beauty tools. When I opened my first salon at 22, my own hair started thinning, which was a turning point in my career. This experience led me to research and obtain certifications from several hair extension and hairpiece manufacturers. Few hairstylists were focusing on this niche at the time. I quickly became known as the go-to expert for clients dealing with alopecia, trichotillomania, oncology-related hair loss, and general thinning hair.” Today, Aria has completed the Trichology certification program, which offers an in-depth study of hair loss. She is a member of the American Hair Loss Council and receives support from Stanford Oncology and many esteemed doctors in the Bay Area. For two decades, Moxi Loxi was located in the Blackhawk Medical offices, but has recently expanded and relocated to Downtown Danville as well as an online e-commerce presence.

A proud member of the Blackhawk and Danville community, Aria is also a devoted mom to her 13-year-old son, Jagger, and a caring figure to two boys, Jayden, 14, and Jace, 12. “I am deeply committed to their well-being, development, inspiring and igniting their entrepreneurial spirit! This commitment is mirrored in the strong community ties that enrich Blackhawk and the Danville community, making it a nurturing place for both families and businesses,” says Aria.

Choosing to call Blackhawk home was an easy decision, says Aria, “Blackhawk is a wonderful environment to raise a family and pursue my professional goals. I have been able to foster a spirit of creativity and innovation not just in my family, but also through my work at Moxi Loxi. Our family’s journey in Blackhawk has been a cornerstone of my life since my son was born. After a brief move when he was two, we returned to lay down our roots and have been integral parts of this community ever since. Throughout my journey, my husband has played a significant role in my life, including the highs and the lows we’ve shared.”

Originally from California, Aria was raised in the Mission Hills area of Fremont. “I enjoyed a childhood surrounded by a close-knit community that held family values dear. My education at St. Joseph’s Catholic School, next to the historic Mission San Jose, was deeply integrated with community life, instilling a lasting appreciation for supportive networks and a strong sense of belonging. Transitioning to Danville and the Blackhawk community felt natural, mirroring the nurturing environment of my youth. Blackhawk and Danville’s emphasis

Images

on community and family values deeply resonate with me. It’s a community reminiscent of my childhood, where everyone knows each other, and a sense of belonging is evident,” says Aria.

A variety of hobbies that not only keep Aria active and spiritually fulfilled. “Recently, I’ve discovered a new passion for golf, which has been a delightful addition to my fitness routine. Staying active is crucial to me, with yoga, boxing, and weight training being integral parts of my routine to maintain the health of my mind, body, and spirit. Spirituality holds a special place in my daily life. I engage in daily prayer, and my son participates in church camps, reinforcing our family’s deep connection to the universe and a higher power. These practices provide us with a foundation of strength and peace, guiding us through the complexities of daily life,” says Aria.

Participating in local sports is a big part of the Jendreski household. “Our children are actively engaged in a variety of sports and activities that not only keep them connected to their Danville hometown but also promote their growth and development. They participate in T-bird football, baseball, martial arts, basketball, soccer, swimming, bowling and have recently taken up golf and boxing. Chess is another family favorite,” says Aria.

Giving back to the community is a core value for Aria, both personally and professionally. Moxi Loxi contributes a portion of every sale to medical research, aiming to make a positive impact on the health challenges others face. Additionally, the company actively support the Walnut Creek Cancer Community Support Center, which is vital in providing care and resources to those in need. Through these efforts, Aria strives to contribute meaningfully to the community, reflecting her values.

Family vacations and traditions are what keep the family connected says Aria, “Our family cherishes a unique tradition during our beach vacations where we collect seashells that we call wishing shells. Each of us selects a special shell to hold in our hands and with our eyes closed and hands together, we each make a wish aloud. This simple, yet magical ritual not only connects us with the beauty of nature but also with each other’s hopes and dreams. It’s a meaningful practice that reminds us of the power of intention and the joy of sharing these moments together, reinforcing

our bonds and creating lasting memories. One of our most memorable vacation memories was a traditional Mayan Ceremony we participated in at a cenote in Tulum, Mexico, which allowed us to connect with ancient traditions in an incredibly personal and unforgettable way. Another adventure took us under the sea, where we became scuba certified and explored the vibrant marine life of the Virgin Islands, including an exhilarating dive to a shipwreck. These experiences, unconventional and full of laughter, have not only drawn us closer but have also filled our family’s storybook with colorful and cherished memories.”

From the incredible neighbors to the safety and community, Aria says her family loves calling Blackhawk home, “We love the sense of community and the stunning natural beauty that make Blackhawk the ideal place to nurture both my family and my business. The area is vibrant with community activities that enrich our lives; we’ve recently taken up golf, love engaging with neighbors and spending time outdoors in our beautiful surroundings. We always feel safe here and the friendships that our children have formed through school and sports are invaluable. Blackhawk is the perfect place for us.”

Giants Ridge –Legend Course

Legend Giants Ridge, one of the top 5 golf courses in Minnesota, is about 200 miles north of Minneapolis. Etched out of the granite and woodlands of the Mesabi Iron Range, the golf course opened in 1997. Giants Ridge is a thriving ski hill in the wintertime.

Owned since 1984 by the state economic development agency, it expanded to include a hotel and two championship golf courses.

Legend Giants Ridge is 45 minutes south of Ely, the entrance to the one-million-acre Boundary Waters Canoe Area in northern Minnesota. If you have another day to spare, the canoeing is memorable.

Legend Giants Ridge is a magnificent well-maintained high-end public course. Hence, the $62 to $90 rates (depending on season) rates are a great value.

Hole #3 is a Par 5 that is reachable at 501 yards. Consequently, launch an aggressive tee shot over the noteworthy “Giant” paw footprint bunker. Plenty of room remains right for the three-shot alternative.

The Par 3 Hole #17 is the Signature hole at Legend Giants Ridge. It’s named to the Minnesota Dream 18 - eighteen of the best holes voted by the public. From the tips it’s 226 yards and from the blue teeing ground, 216 yards. You carry water to an elevated green fronted by a small collection area. In a word, it’s dazzling.

To mild astonishment, the Legend Giants Ridge turned out to be an outstanding golf experience. If your travels should take you to Minnesota, the Giants Ridge should be on your short list. Every hole is a unique beauty. If you only have time to play one of the two courses, we give the Quarry course a slight nod over the Legend course.

If You Go:

Course Info – The Quarry Giants Ridge is a municipal owned daily fee golf facility with two eighteen-hole golf courses - the Quarry and the Legend.

Location – Biwabik, Minnesota - two hundred miles north of Minneapolis near the entrance to the one-million-acre Boundary Waters Canoe Area

Lodging – One-to-four-bedroom suites at The Lodge at Giants Ridge onsite.

Purr-fect Savings: The Secrets of Pet Tax Deductions

Pet

expenses are big business in the US. In 2023, American’s spent $109 billion on pets. While the average pet owner won’t qualify for tax deductions related to their pets, there are some exceptions worth exploring.

Service Animals and Medical Expenses

Certified service animals play a crucial role in the lives of individuals with disabilities, providing essential support and assistance. If you require a guide, service, or therapy animal due to a diagnosed medical condition, such as blindness, epilepsy, or anxiety, you may be eligible to deduct the cost of their care (such as grooming, food, veterinary care, and training) as a medical expense.

Guard Dogs for Business use

If you use a guard dog for business purposes, you may be legally allowed to deduct the cost of their care as a business expense. While you cannot deduct the cost of purchasing

the dog itself, you may be eligible to deduct expenses such as food, training, boarding, and medical care.

This deduction applies to expenses incurred during the dog’s working hours and is limited to the dog’s business-related activities.

Pet Fostering and Charitable Contributions

Volunteering with a service animal agency or pet rescue organization can also have tax benefits. If you foster pets in your home or on your property, you may be eligible to claim deductions for unreimbursed expenses related to their care. This includes the overall cost of food, shelter, veterinary bills, grooming costs, litter, and bedding materials. These expenses typically qualify as charitable donations and are deductible up to 50 percent of your adjusted gross income.

Be Sure to Consult a Tax Professional

Whether your pet serves a medical or businessrelated purpose, your tax professional will need proper documentation to successfully claim the federal and state tax deductions to which you are entitled.

Although the average pet owner may not qualify for tax deductions related to their pets, there are certain circumstances where deductions may be available. By understanding the rules and requirements for each deduction category and maintaining thorough records of your expenses, you can maximize your tax benefits while providing the best care for your furry companions. Remember, consulting with a tax expert can provide valuable guidance and assistance in optimizing your complete tax strategy.

Ditch the Diet, Find Food Freedom!

Ever feel like food is your prison? You’re not alone! A recent poll showed many of us are constantly thinking about food. Dieting only makes it worse.

Imagine a never-ending cycle of deprivation, cravings, and binges. That’s the “Diet Triangle of Pain.” You restrict yourself, then become hyper-focused on everything delicious around you. The frustration builds, leading to a binge and feelings of failure.

Diets fail for 5 reasons:

1. Food Obsession: Dieting makes you think about food more, not less. It’s like the forbidden fruit!

2. The Binge Monster: Restriction triggers binges. Your body fights back for the calories it needs.

3. Out of Control: Dieting feels like control until you binge, then you feel worse than ever.

4. Unrealistic Goals: Diets don’t teach healthy habits naturally thin people use.

5. Yo-Yo Weight Loss: Diets often lead to weight regain because they don’t address the root cause of emotional eating.

A Culinary Journey Through the Western United States

Food is more than just sustenance; it’s a universal language that transcends cultural barriers and connects people from all walks of life. Various culinary practices and traditions can be found in each corner of the United States. From the fresh seafood of the Pacific Northwest to the innovative cuisine of California, western states offer a tantalizing array of flavors and ingredients. If you’re planning to travel around the western United States in the future, here are a few culinary delicacies to look out for and where to find them.

Alaska

The west-most state, Alaska is well known for its fresh seafood and wild game. The Salty Dawg Saloon in Homer has been serving up delicious seafood since 1957. With its panoramic views of Kachemak Bay, The Salty Dawg Saloon offers a taste of Alaska's pristine waters in every dish, from succulent Alaskan king crab legs to perfectly grilled salmon caught from nearby rivers. Washington

Tri-Valley Animal Rescue Giving Them Another Chance

FOSTER DOG PROGRAM - Meet LASSIE

- Foster Dog Looking for her Forever Home

Have you been thinking about a dog, but not sure that you have the energy to invest in the basic training skills? Lassie would love to meet you and fulfill your dreams. Lassie is a Rough Collie/Husky mix about 48 lbs. She may be a bit shy when first meeting you, but she warms up quickly.

All of TVAR’s foster dogs go directly from our foster parents’ homes into their permanent homes. All are vaccinated, neutered or spayed and microchipped before they go to their new forever homes.

FOSTER KITTEN PROGRAM -MAMA BEAR

Cat Looking for her Forever Home

Tri-Valley Animal Rescue (TVAR)Giving them Another Chance.

Lassie is the sweetest dog. She loves when you pet her and rub her belly. A tired dog is a good dog. Lassie is happy with 2 or 3 walks (20 to 30 minutes each) a day. She walks well on her leash and does not react to people or other dogs she encounters on her walks. However, you may need to be ready for the occasional bolt if she sees a squirrel or cat. She is up for longer walks and would probably love a jogging partner.

Lassie is house trained. If you miss her signal to go out, she will get your attention with a low howl. She loves her bed for naps during the day and goes easily into her crate at nighttime. She knows basic commands like sit and down (although her stubborn husky side may cause her to respond a little slowly at times). Lassie is working on the stay command as well as loose leash walking. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.

Meet Mama Bear, a beautiful tortoiseshell cat with a heart full of love. Found on a roof protecting her kitten, she was given a chance to raise her baby in a warm home thanks to TVAR’s wonderful fosters and volunteers. When her baby was about two weeks old, she adopted another orphaned kitten and raised him as her own. Without TVAR, cats like Mama Bear would be struggling to raise their children in harsh, outdoor environments.

TVAR’s kitten and bottle baby programs rescue kittens - some only days old - and mommas (like Mama Bear) and babies who are unable to be adopted from the shelter and place them in foster homes where they receive medical care, love, and a home setting until they are healthy, able to be spayed or neutered and ready for their forever homes

TVAR is a locally based and volunteer run 501(c)3 animal rescue organization. We assist in saving hundreds and hundreds of animals yearly in the Tri-Valley and surrounding areas. We are celebrating over 30 years of saving lives with over 250 local volunteers. At TVAR, we rely solely on Public Support to fund our life saving programs.

TVAR’S Foster Dog and Puppy Program and Foster Kitten and Foster Bottle Baby Programs pull animals directly from the local Shelter into foster homes where they receive much needed love, medical care, and socialization and where they are kept until adopted. Our fosters get to know their foster animalsallowing TVAR to find the right match so dogs, puppies and kittens - and adopters - thrive!

We also have an invaluable Shelter Program where our volunteers spend countless hours every day at the local shelter socializing and working with the Cats, Kittens, Puppies and Dogs and helping introduce these deserving animals to the Public.

Birding In Blackhawk

Recently, my family has started to pay more attention to all the beautiful birds that call Blackhawk home or migrate through our community. We discovered that Blackhawk is a real birding “hot spot.” Here are a few pictures of just some of the birds we have seen on our Blackhawk walks.

Ways to Encourage Mindfulness in Children

Mindful Nature Walks: Pick your favorite hiking trail, park, or nature preserve, and encourage your kids to take a leisurely walk, paying close attention to the sights and sounds around them. Gently point out the rustling leaves, the animals they see, and the gentle breeze against their skin. Encourage them to take deep breaths, inhaling the fresh prairie air, and exhaling any worries. This connection with nature can help them feel more present and grounded.

Creative Mindfulness Crafts: Art and mindfulness can go hand in hand. Gather some art supplies, and let your kids create their own mindful masterpiece. Whether it’s coloring intricate mandalas or using watercolors to express their feelings, art can be a fantastic way for kids to focus their attention and relax. Remind them that it’s not about creating a perfect piece but rather, it’s about enjoying the process and being in the moment.

Breathing Buddies: Help your kids practice deep breathing with the help of a “breathing buddy.” Find one of your child’s favorite stuffed animals, and have your child lie down with the toy on their belly. Instruct them to take slow, deep breaths, watching how the buddy rises and falls with each inhale and exhale. This exercise can be especially helpful for kids to relax before bedtime or when they need a moment of calm.

Mindful Mornings and Bedtime Rituals: Encourage your kids to start and end their day with mindfulness. In the morning, have them take a few minutes to stretch, listen to the birds outside, and set a positive intention for the day. At bedtime, create a calming routine with a few minutes of deep breathing, reflecting on the best parts of the day, and maybe even reading a soothing book together.

Remember, mindfulness is about being present in the moment and embracing the beauty around us. By introducing these practices to your kids, you’re not only helping them navigate the challenges of life with grace, but also cultivating a more mindful and connected mindset.

Don’t Use Ice Cubes to Water Orchids

Orchids are considered one of the most beautiful plants in the world and by avoiding a few common mistakes you can enjoy years and years of beautiful, exotic flowering plants. Carol Kionowski, President of the Orchid Society of California, recently joined the Blackhawk Bloomers to share a few care tips. She used my close to death Phalaenopsis orchid to demonstrate the big “don’ts” of care.

Watering. Overwatering is a common killer of orchids (mine was sitting in 3 inches of water). Too much water can lead to root rot. On the other hand, watering too little can lead to dehydration and shriveled roots which is why my blooms fell off. Watering from the top or crown is also a no-no, this method can damage the leaves and deliver too much water. Instead, soak the plant in the sink or a basin getting the potting mix damp. Shake out any excess water before returning the plant to the pot. When asked if three ice cubes was a good way to water, Carol said yes…… as long as the ice cubes are at room temperature. In other words, no frozen objects should come in contact with the leaves.

Carol took my very sick plant back to rehabilitate. In the meantime, I am starting fresh with a whole new orchid to nurture. Wish me luck.

I’m Seeing Some Cool Fabric Panels Out There

Summer vibes are in full swing! And guess what’s caught my eye? This absolutely captivating fabric panel.

Scrolling through Minki Kim’s Instagram, I stumbled upon the Bloomberry panel, and it was like love at first sight. I couldn’t resist getting my hands on it. Already, I’ve crafted one masterpiece, and I’ve got another panel in the works.

But here’s the kicker - you can create not just one, but three stunning zipper

pouches from this one panel! They’re perfect for gifting. And if you’re like me, itching to get started but not quite sure how, fear not! Minki Kim’s got us covered with her handy sewing tutorials on her YouTube channel.

I think they turn out very professional looking. You can zoom in on the photos on Instagram at #bhlmcrafts

Hope your July is full of crafty things!

July’s Floral Wonder: The Hibiscus of Hawaii

Hibiscus flowers in Hawaii can bloom year-round due to the tropical climate, but they are especially abundant during the warmer months, typically from spring through summer, with July being one of the peak months for their vibrant display.

To see a Hibiscus bloom on Kauai is to witness a moment of pure, unfiltered Hawaiian beauty.

As an aspiring photographer, I have always loved taking beautiful photos of my friends and family, nature and travels. After having a fulfilling career in finance in New York, I moved to California in 2014 where my love for photography turned into an invigorating passion. Moving to gorgeous Blackhawk has further enriched and blossomed my love for the camera. I take my camera everywhere, regardless of how short the distance is. Knowing me, there is always a photo opportunity!

Chimney Rock Rocks

Recently, we had the pleasure to visit Chimney Rock Winery located on the beautiful Silverado Trail in Napa’s Stag Leap District.

Chimney Rock’s history dates back to 1980 when Hack and Stella Wilson purchased the 180-acre parcel that included a golf course. They brought their passion for wine and South African winery architecture to the Napa Valley. In 1990, the Cape-Dutch style winery and tasting room were added to the estate. Shortly after phylloxera caused the property to be replanted with only red Bordeaux -variety grapes recognizing the unique terroir of the Stags Leap District. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petite Verdot were planted to produce world class Cabernet Sauvignon. In 2004, the Teralto family purchased this sensational estate. Today there are 119 acres of vineyards divided into 28 district blocks.

Winemaker Elizabeth Vianna crafts these grapes into world class wines. One of our favorite chefs, Gordon Ramsey, featured Elizabeth as a special guest filming a segment of his Food Stars series at the winery. After a blending class with Elizabeth, contestants were asked to create their own blend and food pairings. Elizabeth and Gordon carefully evaluated each of the contestant’s creations. This was a brilliant and fun way to get national exposure to the Chimney Rock Wines and the fabulous Napa Valley.

We enjoyed tasting these wines with our knowledgeable host Tyson. The tasting was held on the outdoor patio overlooking the pristine beauty of the famous Stags Leap district.

We began with a splash of 2022 Sauvignon Gris chilled perfectly to open our tasting senses. We then tasted the 2021 Elevage, a super expressive blend of 55% Merlot, 29% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Petite Verdot and 3% Malbec.

We then tasted the 2019 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. We especially enjoyed this graceful and elegant blend of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot, 2% Petite Verdot, and 1% Cabernet Franc. We took a few bottles back home to Danville to share with our friends.

We also tasted the 2019 Alpine Cabernet Sauvignon, 2019 Ganymede Cabernet Sauvignon, 2021 Arrowhead and 2021 Tomahawk that were all graceful full-bodied world-class creations.

In conclusion, this winery is a “must do” to add to your Napa bucket list. For further information and to make a reservation go to: https://www.chimneyrock.com/index.cfm?method=homepage.showpage

Acura NSX show

Aboutonce a decade, a car model comes out that feels like a masterpiece of performance, handling and style. That is what many owners of the Acura NSX think, so much that they create their own clubs to celebrate this adored sports car. Made by Honda, but marketed in North America under Acura, the NSX was produced from 1991 to 2005, then had a brief resurgence from 2017-2023. So it is both a modern and a classic car, with collectors and enthusiasts spanning different generations.

An NSX show took place recently at the Blackhawk Museum courtyard, with so many participants that the Acuras were parked three and four-deep, in a rainbow of colors.

The NSX Club of America (NSXCA) is the official Acura NSX owners club in North America established in April 1998. Reach it at www. NSXCA.com.

Summer Sparkle: A Guide to Caring for Your Jewelry in the Sun

Summer is a season of fun, sun, and outdoor adventures. As you embrace the warm weather and soak up the sunshine, it’s essential to take extra care of your jewelry to ensure it remains in pristine condition. Exposure to sweat, sunscreen, chlorinated water, saltwater, and other elements can cause damage to your precious pieces. In this article, members of the Padis team will offer their advice and explore valuable tips and techniques to help you keep your jewelry sparkling throughout the summer season!

1. Shield Your Jewelry from Sun and Heat

While basking in the summer sun, it’s crucial to protect your jewelry from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and extreme heat. Certain gemstones, such as amethyst and opal, can fade or lose their luster when exposed to excessive heat and UV rays. When you’re not wearing your jewelry, store it in a cool, shaded area, away from windows and heat sources. Additionally, avoid leaving your jewelry in hot cars or near swimming pools, as high temperatures can cause metal to expand and gemstones to become loose.

2. Remove Jewelry Before Swimming

As tempting as it may be to wear your favorite jewelry while taking a dip in the pool or ocean, it’s best to remove it before swimming. Chlorine and saltwater can be corrosive to metals and may cause discoloration or damage. Furthermore, the cold temperature of the water can cause your fingers to shrink, increasing the risk of losing rings. Always remember to store your jewelry safely before diving into the water to protect its beauty and longevity.

3. Avoid Contact with Sunscreen and Cosmetics

Sunscreen, lotions, and cosmetics play a vital role in protecting your skin during the summer months. However, they can have adverse effects on your jewelry. Chemicals present in these products, such as oils and sulfates, can tarnish metals and dull the sparkle of gemstones. To prevent this, apply sunscreen and other beauty products before putting on your jewelry. Ensure that the products have fully absorbed into your skin before adorning yourself with your favorite pieces.

4. Regular Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance are essential for preserving the brilliance of your jewelry. Use a soft cloth to gently wipe away any dirt, oils, or residue that may accumulate on the surface. For more thorough cleaning, you can create a solution of warm water and mild soap. Soak your jewelry for a few minutes, gently scrub with a soft brush, and rinse thoroughly. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the metal or gemstones. If you’re uncertain about cleaning specific pieces, consult a Padis trusted advisor for advice and assistance.

5. Secure Proper Storage

When you’re not wearing your summer jewelry, proper storage is crucial. Keep your pieces separate to prevent tangling, scratching, or damage. Consider using individual jewelry pouches or small boxes with soft interiors. This will help protect delicate chains, prevent gemstones from rubbing against each other, and minimize the risk of your jewelry getting tangled. Taking a few extra moments to store your jewelry properly will ensure that it remains in excellent condition and ready for your next summer adventure.

6. Professional Inspection and Repairs

At the end of the summer season, it’s advisable to have your jewelry inspected by a professional jeweler. We can identify any potential issues, such as loose stones or weakened clasps, and perform any necessary repairs. This proactive approach will help prevent further damage and maintain the longevity of your cherished pieces. We can also provide guidance on specialized care for specific gemstones or metals, ensuring that your jewelry remains radiant and stunning for years to come.

As you embrace the joys of summer, it’s important to remember to care for your jewelry properly. Shield your pieces from excessive sunlight and heat, remove them before swimming, and avoid contact with sunscreen and cosmetics. Regular cleaning and proper storage are vital to maintaining their brilliance, while professional inspections and repairs will ensure their longevity. By following these tips, you can enjoy your favorite summer jewelry throughout the season and beyond, preserving its beauty and shine for countless sunny adventures to come.

Our team at Padis Jewelry is happy to assist you with any questions or maintenance for your pieces to ensure they stay safe and sparkly throughout the year. Feel free to reach us at concierge@padisjewelry.com if we can be of assistance in any way. Wishing you and your family lots of happy memories and vacations during these lovely summer months!
