JOHN JAMES

Enchantment Redefined From John James Designs

John James is a native Californian who grew up in a family of artists. His mother was a concert pianist and his father a successful landscape architect. In the early hours of the morning, John would find his father at the drafting table and together they would talk for hours about beautiful things. At the family nursery, John would run around with his clippers, creating wildflower arrangements for his childhood home. John James studied Communications & Languages at Pepperdine University, a glorious place in the mountains of Malibu. When not practicing the piano, or studying French & German, he was hanging out until the wee hours of the morning with actors, musicians and other creatives in Los Angeles. Drawn by the astonishing beauty of the Bay Area, John headed north to San Francisco and landed a rewarding job working with Stanlee Gatti. John quickly became lead designer, overseeing events for San Francisco glitterati. After two years John struck out on his own, and in 1997 John James Designs was born!

John James has established himself as a master at making things beautiful. He will be sharing his art of making beautiful floral arrangements with Bloomers.
