Ink Godz Tattoos NEIL MARCUS How would you describe your style? My style is realism, however I can pretty much do anything. What did you do before you were a tattoo artist? I was an electrician for 13 years and also had a few other businesses before I opened Ink Godz Tattoos in St. Petersburg, Florida. How do you feel about art? Art is and always has been my heart. I enjoy tattooing, but I enjoy seeing the happiness on my clients faces once I'm done and they see how beautiful it turned out. How would you describe your style? Usually I use only black ink but sometimes a little bit of white to give some highlights. In general I'd consider my style as very dreamy with an eye for fine details. What subject matters do you prefer? Basically I feel very much drawn to nature so my work is mostly focused on organic objects, plants and animals. Moreover one of my biggest inspirational sources is the ancient world but also medical and botanical illustrations. Who would you like to get tattooed by? I simply love the artwork of Seoul based tattooist 'Oozy'. I definitely want to see him one day and get a tattoo by him. Do you make other art? Since I am going to launch my own studio soon ('Sell Your Soul' in Berlin) I am exclusively dedicated this project.
