P O R S C H E 9 11 CA RRERA 4 GT S CAB The turbocharged three-litre flat-six in the new 911 GTS delivers 353 kW (480 PS). Maximum torque is 570 Nm, an increase of 20 Nm over its precedessor. Zero to 100 km/h takes just 3.3 seconds in the 911 Carrera 4 GTS Coupé with the eight-speed Porsche dualclutch transmission (PDK): three tenths faster than its predecessor. A seven-speed manual transmission with a particularly short throw is available for all 911 GTS models as an alternative to the PDK.

Its suspension, derived from the 911 Turbo and modified for the GTS, meets exacting performance demands. Thanks to its standard Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), the dampers respond to dynamic changes at lightning speed. In the Coupé and

2020 BUGAT T I C E NT OD IE C I Instead of the V12, the Bugatti Centodieci features the iconic 8.0-litre W16 engine with 1,176 kW/1,600 hp at 7,000 rpm. An additional air inlet in the area of the oil cooler reliably regulates the temperature of the performance-enhanced engine. The Centodieci sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.4 seconds, to 200 km/h in 6.1 seconds and to 300 km/h in 13.1 seconds; the top speed is electronically cut off at 380 km/h. "It's not just the top speed that makes a hyper sports car. With the Centodieci, we once again demonstrate that design, quality and performance are just as important," says Stephan Winkelmann. Compared to the Chiron, the Centodieci saves 20 kilograms of unladen weight. Among other things, a lightweight windscreen wiper and stabilisers made of carbon are used. This enables a sensational power-to-weight ratio of just 1.13 kilograms per horsepower. "The increased power and lower weight further improve performance - for even better acceleration at high speeds. The Centodieci offers our customers an improved power-to-weight ratio and even more dynamic handling," says Stephan Winkelmann.

The new paint tone matches this. "With the communication paint finish in white, we're demonstrating a powerful contrast with the La Voiture Noire - the black car just presented in March: two completely opposing yet related forces, like yin and yang," says Stephan Winkelmann. He says that this was what continues to set Bugatti apart after 110 years.

C H E V R OL E T C O RV E T T E ST INGRAY [EU ] The new Stingray's heart is Chevy's upgraded 6.2l Small Block V-8 LT2 engine, the only naturally aspirated V-8 in the segment. The European version produces 482 horsepower (354 kW) and 613 Nm of torque* with performance exhaust which is part of the standard equipment in Europe- the most horsepower and torque for any entry Corvette. The engine is fully homologated to meet and exceed stringent Euro 6d emission standards.

"Though now placed behind the driver, the LT2 gives the same visceral experience we all expect from Corvette," said Jordan Lee, GM's global chief engineer of Small Block engines. "The LT2 has been designed to deliver excellent low-end torque and high-end

2 02 2 AUD I R S Q E-T RON DAKA R RA L LY Just under a year after the initial concept idea, Audi Sport has started testing the new Audi RS Q e-tron, with which Audi will take on one of the greatest challenges there is in international racing in January 2022: the Dakar Rally.

Unique: Audi wants to be the first car manufacturer to use an electrified drivetrain in combination with an efficient energy converter to compete for overall victory against conventionally-powered competitors in the world's toughest rally. "The quattro was a gamechanger for the World Rally Championship. Audi was the first brand to win the Le Mans 24 Hours with an electrified drivetrain. Now, we want to usher in a new era at the Dakar Rally, while testing and further developing our e-tron technology under extreme conditions," says Julius Seebach, Managing Director of Audi Sport GmbH and responsible for motorsport at Audi. "Our RS Q e-tron was created on a blank sheet of paper in record time and stands for Vorsprung durch Technik."

The characteristics of the Dakar Rally present the engineers with special challenges. The marathon event lasts two weeks and the daily stages are up to 800 kilometers in length. "That's a very long distance," says Andreas Roos, responsible for the Dakar project at Audi Sport. "What we are trying to do has never been done before. This is the ultimate challenge for an electric drivetrain."

2022 TOYOT A T UNDRA It should come as no surprise that the all-new Toyota Tundra was redesigned from the ground up. Designed, engineered and assembled in the U.S., there's no question this is the toughest, most capable, most advanced Tundra to date.

Improvements and enhancements abound, including its new highstrength boxed, steel-ladder frame, aluminum-reinforced composite bed and fully redesigned multi-link rear suspension. The outcome of development efforts gives the stout new Tundra an impressive maximum towing capacity of up to 12,000 pounds and a max payload capacity of 1,940 pounds.

2 02 2 BE NTL E Y C ONT INE NT A L GT SP EED For the first time in a Bentley, the latest generation of the Continental GT Speed introduces the use of an electronic rear differential (eLSD). Specifically tuned hand-in-hand with the traction control and active chassis systems, the eLSD provides increased lateral capacity, improved longitudinal stability, enhanced on-throttle adjustability and delivers better traction in adverse road conditions.

In BENTLEY and COMFORT mode this provides improved traction, provides a greater level of confidence for the driver and makes the vehicle feel more stable at high speeds. In SPORT mode, the eLSD has been tuned to balance on and off throttle adjustability, improved turn-in response and increased straight-line performance. The combined benefit means the Bentley Continental GT Speed is now more adjustable and more driver-focussed than ever before without compromising comfort or stability.

Improved cornering dynamics and the extra grip provided by the new systems allows the driver to exit any corner with an increased

level of precision and confidence. In turn, the vehicle is able to extract the maximum performance from the available traction to deliver stunning acceleration and composure from the apex. In SPORT mode, the traction management system sends a greater proportion of power to the rear axle to allow for even greater on-throttle control of cornering line.
