CHAMBER COMMITTEES Business Development Division The Business Development Division directs Chamber resources and focus to areas that are important to the overall retention and development of new business within our service area. Committees will provide Chamber initiatives that will encompass recruitment, retention, education and workforce development, public policies input and other key issues. The following committees will work to accomplish the Chamber’s goals:
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE Chairwoman DAWN SIPLEY Link Staffing Services Objective: The Chamber’s Economic Development Committee focuses on expansion and retention of existing business and industry within Sanford while partnering to create new business development and approaches which support business within our community.
SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE Chairwoman CYNTHIA BLACKWELL Black Rain Partners Objective: The committee is working to build marketing, business development, small business growth, education and other opportunities for small business.
EDUCATION COMMITTEE Chairman GUSS RAHAL Metrovista Printing Objective: The Education Committee is working in partnership with Seminole County Public Schools to develop a pilot program for mentoring at-risk students within Sanford schools.
