March Programs And Crafts

Join us virtually for delightful stories, fun songs, and an easy craft that can be made right from home! Our March virtual Storytimes will be made available to view on Wednesdays and Fridays on our Facebook page. Crafts presented in the virtual Storytimes will be available for pick-up at the library on Wednesdays while supplies last.

Tuesday March 16th, 2021 6:00-7:00 p.m.

Adults of all ages are welcome to join us virtually to discuss the book of the month. The book selection for March is Bluebird, Bluebird by Attica Locke Copies of the selected book for each month can be reserved by contacting Melissa at msmith@weatherfordtx.gov while supplies last. Please contact Melissa for more information on how to access the virtual meeting.

Bunny Bottoms! A Craft Program for Teens We will be creating these hilarious spring displays using a variety of materials. Free craft packets will be available on a first come, first served basis on Wednesday, March 17th. The demonstration video will be available on our Facebook page beginning at noon on Friday, March 19th. While this program is planned for teens, we have a feeling that younger siblings, tweens and “young at heart” crafters will enjoy this project as well!

Did You Know? - The Red Cross will be on site on Thursday, March 18th from

12:00pm - 5:30pm to hold a blood drive. Photo ID or Red Cross Donor Card will be required. To make an appointment please visit www.redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-RedCross.

March Programs And Crafts Decoupage Flowerpots Join us as we make lovely spring flowerpots with paint, scrapbooking paper, and decoupage glue. Free supply kits will be available on a first come, first served basis beginning on Wednesday, March 24th. The instructional video will be available on our Facebook page beginning at noon on Friday, March 26th. While this program is planned for adults, teens are also welcome to participate. It might make a good Mother’s Day gift. (Hint! hint!) Galaxy Slime - Adventure Pack Join us online as we create some out of this world slime! Adventure packets will be available at the reference desk for pick-up on March 12th. Demonstration video will be available on our Facebook Page at noon on the same day. Craft Packets are first come, first served.
