CHANGE MANAGEMENT TEAM BROUGHT grub!
BRING IT ON MUNIS!

WHO'S READY FOR HEADS UP 7 UP?
WHAT DID YOU GET ON NUMBER 6?
nce Training The Project Management Team conducted User Acceptance Testing for Phase 1 Financials and let’s just say, exciting things are happening! Here are just a few highlights… I’m sure you’ve heard by now that Finance has created a new chart of accounts. That may sound a little scary, but with the help of the Project Management Team, Munis has completely taken the daunting task of learning a whole new set of numbers completely out of the equation! Each new account code will be pre-loaded in a drop-down menu with the description! All you will need to do is scroll down until you see the one you want and select it! Purchase order requisitions and conversions have never been easier either! Once the requisition is created and approved, a hard copy purchase order can be printed in a matter of minutes! And then there’s purchase cards. No more monthly statements! That’s right! Once you enter your purchase card transaction into Munis, you’re done! We know what you’re thinking, “That Change Management Team has been cheering for Munis all along!”, but don’t just take our word for it…. Pat Berry, Utility Services Support Manager, completed scenarios in Receiving Processes, as well as Requisition and Purchase Order Processing. Here’s what she had to say about Munis: “It’s pretty simple! A whole lot more user-friendly than Incode! Dual entry may be a little time consuming at first, but Austin assures me that is only temporary. In speaking with other cities currently using Munis, they have had nothing but good things to say. I am very excited to hear that it will integrate well with City Works!” We are getting so close to KICK-OFF! Can’t wait for you to share in the excitement!
