Did You Know? - Due to the ongoing pandemic we are unable to accept any donations at this time. Once it is safe for us to start hosting booksales we will start accepting donations again.

November Programs Tuesday, Novmber 17th, 2020 - 6:00-7:00 p.m. Virtual Book Club

Adults of all ages are welcome to join us virtually to discuss the book of the month. The book selection for November is What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty. Copies of the selected book for each month can be reserved by contacting Melissa at msmith@weatherfordtx.gov while supplies last. Please contact Melissa for more information on how to access the virtual meeting.

Friday November 20th, 2020 10:00 a.m. Adult And Teen Take And Make Craft

Join us as we make a fun fall craft that will be a great addition to your Thanksgiving table dĂŠcor. We will be using glass canning jars, paint, tea lights, and more to create an inviting fall lantern. This activity is geared for adults and teens, better yet, you can make them together for a family crafted centerpiece! Sign-up for free supply kits will be available on Eventbrite.com starting November 10th. Packets can be picked up beginning on Friday, November 13th. Our demonstration video will go live on November 20th. Happy Craftsgiving!

Wednesdays and Fridays 10:30 - 11:15 a.m. Virtual Storytime

Join us virtually for delightful stories, fun songs, and an easy craft that can be made right from home! Our virtual November Storytimes will be made available to view on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:30am-11:30am on our Facebook page. Crafts presented in the virtual Storytimes will be available for pick-up at the library after the video is posted! *while supplies last

Throughout the month of November, youth of all ages can pick up a turkey sheet to disguise and bring back to the library for display! We will have sheets available for pickup at the circulation and reference desks. Use supplies from home and your wonderful creativity to create a disguise! Once hidden, please bring back your disguised turkey to the library for display!

Meet The Staff This month in Meet the Staff we turn our spotlight onto Paula Rollins. Paula is a Circulation Clerk for Weatherford Public Library. Paula has been a member of the library staff since 2008. Paula works at our circulation desk. She is responsible for registering new patrons and assisting them with any questions related to your library account. Along with the other circulation staff she returns library items to their proper place once they are returned. Before she came to Weatherford Public Library she worked many years at the Central branch of the Fort Worth Public Library.

Paula Rollins

Paula lives in Parker County with her husband, a German Shepherd named Cedric and 2 cats, Sundance and Sophie. Her free time is spent with family, sewing or taking a trip with her yellow teardrop camper, Penelope.
