As a young female we tend to believe that we fall in love and really love to us is happy. When really we don’t know what love is. However, I do my artwork based on when ladies are abused in a relationship among the different types of love. The reason for choosing and creating this work is truly because as a female in a relationship I like to express my feelings towards my artwork rather than expressing myself to others. In addition, the process that I took in creating my piece of artwork was very challenging at first due to the fact that I really did not think there was really much to say about art. I thought art was just a painting or drawing that people would do just for the fun of it. As I got to know a bit more about art I came to know that there was way much more to it than just a painting or drawing. There was a deeper meaning on why the artist created the work. It was like a story behind it. What was challenging for me was to decide what I really wanted to do for my artwork. At the beginning of my art, I did not know what I was good at so I started with soft pastels in which I did not like because it was messy so I tried something new, which was pencil, something I was stringer at.
