Apartment Living
There are many reasons that people choose to live in an apartment rather than a house.
For years apartments have been seen as first and last homes, where typically younger couples will buy an apartment to make their first step onto the property ladder. Similarly, many older people will look to apartments as a final home once their children leave home and they are ready to downsize and have a lower maintenance lifestyle.

Security
Apartments tend to offer a sense of security as typically there are several layers of entry with a secure main entry door, communal areas, further doors and then a secure door to your apartment. This extra security gives peace of mind for people looking to holiday throughout the year, knowing their home is safe and secure.
Community
With apartments, diverse communities will often form. By living within close proximity to your neighbours, the probability of developing relationships and long term connections increases. This can be a great bonus to elderly residents who may be living on their own and want to socialise in their local area.
Low Maintenance
As with many apartments, maintenance is usually low as many aspects of maintaining the building and apartments is covered in the service charge. This tends to be a big positive when people are moving away from homes with gardens when they are unable to keep up with the task of maintaining a garden. It also enables residents to leave their home for holidays without having to worry about coming back to an overgrown garden.
Parking
One of the problems some homeowners come across when living in a house without a driveway or garage is parking. In many apartments, parking bays are often designated to each resident, along with a visitor parking space or general parking area.
