I would like to take this time to reflect on the past year. In the sponsorship and advertising office, we had to adjust and adapt quickly, outside circumstances put a great big halt on normal operations. With the help of our, ever so generous partners, we were able to keep trekking along and we continued to bring fun to our Fort Bliss community.

In light of things, we have had sponsors who generously contributed to bring what we could to our patrons. Without them, we would not have been able to bring our community the events that we did. I am excited! I want you to get excited and geared up for the what’s coming for the remainder of the year.

We are excited to say, “Events are on the way!”

First up will be our Pop Goes the Fort 10th year anniversary, with musical talents by our very own 1st Armored Division (1AD) Band and the El Paso Symphony Orchestra. “YES,” there will be fireworks! Thanks to our biggest supporter USAA, we will have an even bigger and better fireworks display this year. Did you know that USAA even supported us in 2020 when many facilities and programming were not open? With the help of USAA, we were able to bring 2020 fireworks that extended 100 feet higher for everyone to see near and far.

This year, we plan to celebrate our 10th Anniversary Pop Goes the Fort event the way it should be commemorated. Again, USAA said, “we’ll do it!”

The fun is just beginning, be on the lookout for many upcoming activities brought to you by the wonderful folks at Fort Bliss MWR along with the tremendous support from our amazing sponsors.
