UNDERWOOD GOLF COMPLEX July is PGA Family Golf Month Spouses and children, with valid military ID, pay no fees when they play with their active-duty service member at Underwood Golf Complex during the month of July. July 11-13 • Commander’s Cup Golf Championship Free and open to active-duty military. A max of eight golfers per team for each brigade and independent league. Info: 744-5785 July 21-25 • The First Tee • 9-11am The First Tee promotes life skills and leadership to youth through the game of golf in a five-day-long summer camp. The cost is $50 and includes a hat, a t-shirt and equipment. Info: 373-4564 July 25 • Commander’s Open Golf Tournament • 9am This four-person scramble is hosted by Garrison Command. Entry costs $40 and includes greens fee, cart rental, range balls and lunch. Please register by July 24. With no major climbs or descents, this is the perfect opportunity for beginners to try mountain biking. The cost is $5 per person.
