ABYDOS COLLECTION As the prows of fourteen reed-lashed wooden boats pointed toward the Nile, finding their resting place just beyond the regal tombs of Abydos. The vessels, buried to accompany the first dynasty pharaohs on their daily voyages down the sacred Nile to meet the sun god Ra, showcased a remarkable construction technique. Employing reed lashing in conjunction with mortise and tenon joints, they were crafted to possess both the robustness to brave the Mediterranean waters and the adaptability to be disassembled and transported across vast deserts. In homage to this ingenious ancient craftsmanship, we present our Abydos collection. Echoing the enduring strength and epic journeys of the pharaohs, our collection features visible through-mortise joinery and hand-lashed panels. Rooted in the ethos of the Art Deco movement, we embrace Classical simplicity and purity, focusing on exalting the craft and construction itself. The result is a comfortable seating ensemble characterized by impeccably tailored proportions and sculpted Modernist lines, inviting you to embark on your own journey in comfort and elegance.

MARBLE TESSERAE COLLECTION As part of a two-thousand year tradition, pieces of marble are selected for colour then cut with a traditional cutting hammer and hardie, they then get sof tened through a sa nd pol i shi n g proce ss t hat retai ns t he uni que dimension of each tessera while leaving a characteristically smoothed and varied surface. Through a direct method they are skillfully laid out in patterns and mortared to a solid marble slab that is grouted and polished before being installed into a heavily forged iron frame. The outcome is a distinctive homage to the enduring style and material strength of the Roman Empire.
