This year has been incredibly busy for both London and Chard. Earlier in the year London hosted a memorable Jubilee followed by a hugely successful Olympics and Chard have followed suit with a record amount of people interested in looking to buy or rent in London. Transaction levels are consistently on the rise in our core areas and the remainder of 2012 looks set to continue in the same fashion. Theatrical Delights Step into the warm inviting theatre this winter and enjoy the must-see shows of the season A Chorus of Disapproval Harold Pinter Theatre 17 September – 5 January An all-star cast perform in this riotous Alan Ayckbourn comedy directed by the award-winning Trevor Nunn. Nigel Harman and Ashley Jensen take to the stage alongside Rob Brydon, who makes his West End theatre debut as the flamboyant theatre director Dafydd. The story centres on an amateur show gone awry and the audience soon see that the best action happens behind the scenes.

Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour O2 Arena 12 October – 20 October Executed by the legendary performers of the Cirque de Soleil, Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour is a view into the extraordinary life of a pop superstar. The show is an immersive experience fusing his best musical hits alongside astonishing aerial displays of choreography, puppetry and acrobatics. A 6ft version of the singer’s iconic white glove and video projections of the King of Pop are just some of the breathtaking sights to behold.

Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of The Worlds Wembley Arena 6 December Audiences will be blown away by the mixture of live music, theatre and visual arts in this grand musical production of The War of The Worlds. Using impressive 3D holography Liam Neeson appears as journalist George Herbert who encounters an alien invasion. The legendary score conducted by Jeff Wayne and the orchestra’s position next to the action on stage adds to the spectacle.

Twelfth Night Apollo Theatre 2 November – 3 February For an entertaining production to rival any soap opera see the Bard’s Twelfth Night and follow the story of lovelorn Countess Olivia. Played by Mark Rylance, an authentic nod to Shakespeare’s days of all-male casts, audiences will be transfixed when her character falls in love with a girl dressed as a boy who is actually played by a man. Stephen Fry appears as the uptight steward Malvolio in this hugely entertaining show.

Let it Be Prince Of Wales Theatre From 14 September The world’s most successful rock ’n’ roll band is applauded in this musical extravaganza marking the 50th anniversary of the Beatles. Using video footage charting the band’s meteoric rise to fame the show is also part live performance with their greatest hits played by professional musicians including I Wanna Hold Your Hand, Hard Day’s Night and Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.

Much Ado About Nothing Noel Coward Theatre 24 September – 27 October Set in the modern-day and starring actress and comedienne Meera Syal, Shakespeare’s intricate comedy of romance and deceit is played against the colourful backdrop of India. Directed by Iqbal Khan whose credits include Broken Glass and The Killing of Sister George (2011), Much Ado About Nothing is the tale of two pairs of lovers who are embroiled in a web of gossip and trickery.
