HAMPTON COURT PALACE FESTIVAL Experience summer evenings of memorable music in this historic Palace setting which is celebrating its 500th birthday this year. Special guests include Jools Holland, KT Tunstall, Peter Andre, Alfie Boe, The John Wilson Orchestra and Paloma Faith, who will play two nights on the 16th and 18th of June. Away from the main stage, visitors can relax with a picnic in the scenic gardens or head over to a marquee to enjoy the buffet.

The 2015 Canalway Cavalcade, organised by the Inland Waterways Association, will be taking place over the May Bank Holiday weekend. Canalway Cavalcade is a distinctive waterways boaters' gathering that has been taking place at Little Venice since 1983. Visitors can expect plenty of very British fun including Morris Dancing and a real ale tent. There will also be trade stalls, live music, children's activities and refreshments.
COVENT GARDEN MAY FAYRE AND PUPPET FESTIVAL Enjoy a day of traditional British entertainment at the Actor's Church in Covent Garden. Celebrating the anniversary of the first time that Samuel Pepys recorded seeing a Punch and Judy-style show in London, this fun festival is a popular annual treat for families. The day will be filled with puppet shows and workshops, folk music from The Lost Marbles String Band, maypole dancing and clowns.

Head Chef Eduardo Tuccillo and his team centre their menu around tapas options, with plenty of Neopolitan influence. The Josper grill can be seen in the open kitchen where it delivers unique flavours and textures to the food.
This is a hyper fusion dining experience where East meets West in the form of Hong Kong cuisine combining with Scottish heritage beef cuts and US style smoking. Serving BBQ with a twist it is a minimalist venue set in the heart of Soho. The restaurant has 28 bar seats, some informal seating at the front and approximately 20 dining places at the rear.

RUNNING IN THE PARKS HYDE PARK Hyde Park is a popular spot for runners with it’s very flat and mostly paved terrain. Taking in views of the Serpentine and beautiful Italian gardens two full laps round the park is equivalent to a 10K run.
GREEN PARK With a perimeter of 1.2 miles, Green Park is much smaller than Hyde Park with a few elevations. For longer runs you can combine Green Park with either St. James’s or Hyde Park.
HAMPSTEAD HEATH If you are looking for something less manicured then this is it. Hampstead Heath is London’s largest ancient parkland, covering 790 acres. Runners should know the park is renowned for its hills.
