Pava works in an abstract manner and receives his inspiration from works by Kandinsky and Joan Miró, as well as the Bauhaus movement. He works with traditional painting techniques such as raw canvas, coal, oil, linseed oil and acrylic, and adores the process of painting itself.

Colour is an important expressive medium in his work. For this painting, for example, he chose acid and sweet tones to underline the fact that we are living in an excessively infantilized society, with childish and immature values.
