The subjects of Julija’s work are balanced between eroticism and studies of nature. This series investigates the mysteries of water and its contact with the human body. Julija reflects on water as a unique space, which is alien to human life but, at the same time, might be the most harmonious. The artist is mesmerised by the way in which water changes all our perceptions as soon as it embraces us.
