To Reign’s first crop weanlings have a consistency of presence and class you rarely see across a crop. Time to Reign gets a great type, they’re very athletic. They will make very good Sales yearlings next year and I’d be very surprised if Time To Reign doesn’t prove to be one of the most profitable first crop sire for breeders. If you haven’t already, now is the time to bred to him.”

Time To Reign
Exciting Silver Slipper winner Time To Reign’s first yearlings will be seen in the sales ring in 2024. A half-brother to Gr1 Golden Slipper winner She Will Reign, Time to Reign showed the same promise early, winning his first two starts as an
October and November two year-old, including beating future Gr1 star Bivouac on debut. He returned in the autumn to win the time honoured Gr2 Silver Slipper stakes to finish his two year-old season with three wins from six starts including a valuable group win. A dominant spring was expected when three year-old Time To Reign demolished older Gr1 horses Verry Elleegant, Baller, Unforgiven, and Nakeeta Jane by over six lengths in a late July trial but a serious virus prevented any spring campaign and subsequent complications and two surgeries meant he never recovered his early brilliance despite two attempts to return as a late three year-old and four year-old.
A precocious horse with a precocious pedigree, Time to Reign is by dual Gr2 winning two year-old Time For War (Snitzel), and his half-sister She Will Reign is a dual Gr1 winner (Golden Slipper and AJ Moir) whose first foal is a two year-old winner and group placed in Japan. Time To Reign’s dam won twice, once at two, and his third dam is Gr2 Slipper Trial Stakes winner Sunshine Sally, who left two stakes winners including Listed Gimcrack Stakes winner Mille.
Unite and Conquer
Precocious two year-old Unite and Conquer will have his first two year-olds race in 2023/24 and his first yearlings sold up to $100,000 (off a $6,600 fee).
Unite and Conquer is pure early maturing speed, having won the Listed Maribyrnong Trial Stakes on debut as an October two year-old, and followed this up two months later with a win in the Listed Wyong Magic Millions 2YO Classic to keep his unbeaten record.
Sent to the January Magic Millions 2YO Classic as favourite, the hulking two yearold, sadly injured a tendon in the running and had to be retired.
Unite and Conquer is by group winning two year-old Hinchinbrook whose Gr1 winners include Gr1 JJ Atkins winner Press Statement, four-time Gr1 winning sprinter Beat The Clock, Gr1 Champagne Stakes winner Seabrook, and Gr1 Robert Sangster Stakes winner Spright. Unite and Conquer’s dam won three races and she has also left winner Mission Value who ran third in the Listed Inglis Nursery. His second dam is Gr1 Flight Stakes winner Danglissa, with speedy two year-old Listed winner Profiteer also a close relative.
Bull Point
A tough racehorse, Bull Point brings consistency to the line-up at Kingstar Farm. A winner on debut as a two year-old, Bull Point won the Gr3 Manfred Stakes at three and was fourth in the Gr1 Futurity Stakes against the older horses. At four, he collected four group placings, including third in the Gr1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes, and won again at five over a mile.
Sire of two stakes winners, Bygone Era and Morty, as well as the promising group placed winner Raging Bull, the highly talented rising middle distance star Winning Point and speedy stakes placed winner Encountabull, Bull Point leaves consistent tough gallopers like himself.
Bull Point was a $960,000 yearling, and is a son of Champion Sire Fastnet Rock and a full brother to Gr3 winner Siege of Quebec. His winning dam is a half-sister to two stakes winners including Mica’s Pride, the dam of four-time Gr1 winner Criterion and Gr1 winner Comin’ Through.
Lord of the Sky
Lord of the Sky was the type of racehorse that any owner who loves going to the races to watch their horses would want to own. A winner at two, Lord of the Sky four of his first six starts at three including the Gr3 Sir John Monash Stakes over 1100m. At four, he raced almost entirely in black type company, running second in the Gr1 TJ Smith Stakes (to Chautauqua), the Gr1 Goodwood Handicap (to Flamberge), the Gr3 Standish Handicap and the Listed Christmas Stakes, as well as running fourth in the Gr1 Newmarket Handicap. At five, he won the Gr3 Bletchingly Stkes and at seven he won the Gr3 Standish Handicap to retire with a record of seven wins and five second placings from 32 starts.
With only small crops, he’s already had three winners from his first crop of three year-olds including stakes placed winner Ballon d’Or (third Listed Adelaide Guineas).
